Who or what is the Patriotic Veterans for the Truth. When I registered for this forum I immediately began getting emails from them. Sounds to me like they should change thier name to Psychotic Veterans In Denial of the Truth.

I'm a combat infantryman who served with the 25th infantry division at Cu Chi from April, 1966 to February, 1967. I have only one purple Heart but it put me in the hospital for almost three months. I've been opposed to John Kerry from the day he started shooting off his delusional lies about Viet Nam Vets in 1971. I'm very much in support of the SwiftVets in getting out the word on this liar and fraud. I'm also a 100 percent service connected vet. My service connection ratings are for Ptsd and gunshot wounds. I've been in numerous VA psych wards and twice I was hospitalized in the Viet Nam Vets Program at Menlo Park in California. During these time and elsewhere I have encountered more than a few people that have Viet Nam complexes like Senator Kerry. Some served in Viet Nam, some didn't. What they had in common was they made Viet Nam a central focus of thier lives and have highly exaggerated thier exploits. They were and are sick people. Just like John Kerry. As for the Patriotic Veterans for the Truth I've deleted their emails but suffice it to say they are saying that the SwiftVets are liars and I deleted their emails because they did not give a return link. I will keep you posted on any new email that come in.

Now doesn't this sound like a group that's out of creative ideas? they have to resort to "spreading phone numbers, addresses and SS #s".

zpdnvn66 I was with the third herd in 69-70 and am 100%, been around a lot of VA hospitals and have seen guys like Kerry just so full of BS it hurts....

Did you see the film that Kerry made in the Nam at the DNC ???????? As someone who say Charlie up close and personal did you notice anything about Kerry in the shot of him walking carrying his 16... I've looked for that picture and can't find it on the net but with just a glance I would have to ask where his second magazine was coming from if he needed it. The bandoleer of ammo was cool but I can't remember having enough time to fill a magazine during a fire fight.. Just wonder if anyone else noticed....

Welcome Home Doug. I haven't seen any of the films that Kerry made up. I had heard that they were supposedly reinactments of his alledged exploits while in country. I shake my head at the whole thing.

I have been shaken my head for many years but people still believe what that want to believe rather than the truth... I've been shoot at and missed **** on and hit since 1968 because of guys like Kerry... In 1971 Kerry said he was on search and destroy missions were he burn down villages. I guess that was the Navy definition of search and destroy, it wasn't the third herds..
What I saw of his reinactments BS.... I sure wouldn't want him with me, but hey very few of us got up close and personal with Charlie....

ASPB my point was Kerry is a liar... Anyone who was there knows what search and destroy meant but know one ever calls these people on things like this.. Years ago at a VA hospital the subject of fire fights came up and a guy ask what kind of flame thrower we were using... My friend beat the hell out of him and got put on the flight deck for it....
