I think we may be talking past each other. I think we all agree that Kerry intended to earn "greenie points" by insulting McCain/Palin by dissing her for not buying into the "Manmade Global Warming" scam, and by doing so, he actually complimented her. Her quote seems to indicate that she is smart enough not to tilt at windmills and outright tell everyone they are being scammed, so she worded it in such a way as to say she has reservations about how much contribution is caused by man. Her actions are what count, and unless she buys into the "cap and trade" and "carbon taxes" and all the other destructive measures, she can just pat the little "greenies" on the head and let that sleeping dog lie and still accomplish good for both the economy and the ecology using sound economic and conservation practices. Is that close? |

twisted: Since the McCain nomination I completely checked out of the political seen, and from the swift vets. Now with the Palin nomination I am drunk with happiness. I am literally to drunk to write more at this time.

If you check Drudge, he has posted that Daily KOS is claiming that the Palin's Down Syndrome baby, Trig, is actually the oldest daughter's baby, and they have posted close up photos of the daughter showing a "belly bump". Townhall has rebutted and even says the photo they are showing is from 2006. Read it on Drudge, I am too disgusted to say any more other than that the Leftists are beneath the sewer. If Obama and the DNC had any scruples, they would IMMEDIATELY blast the "Daily KOOKS" and insist they pull that post and issue a public apology...but since they don't, you needn't hold your breath waiting for either to occur.
....afterthought: Why doesn't someone in the media ask about John Kerry's judgment in picking John "Casanova" Edwards for his VP? Naw, waste of time, Kerry has NEVER shown good judgment.
A brilliant post I stumbled onto:
MSNBC asked, "How many houses does Palin add to the Republican ticket?"
Just ONE!

Tews, it is a classic leftist smear from KoS. Reading up on this today and surfing the net I ran across a couple articles that dispell the rumors.
First, Nancy Dillon of the New York Daily News, in a soft attempt to bash Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin's mother-in-law uncertain about how she'll vote, unwittingly included a quote from the same mother-in-law, Quote: | "We don't agree on everything. But I respect her passion," she said. "Being pro-life is who Sarah is."
Faye Palin said the governor never considered ending her recent pregnancy when genetic testing showed her son Trig, born in April, would have Down syndrome.
"There was no question," she said. "She was going to have that baby." |
Additionally, a Science teacher visiting Alaska had a chance meeting with Mrs. Palin and wrote about it this past April, months before she was known to the public to be a VP choice, http://www.polartrec.com/node/3944
The teacher, Elizabeth Eubanks wrote on April 29, 2008, Quote: | "There were several of us PolarTRECers waiting in the Fairbanks, AK airport to catch our planes home. We were chatting about all we had learned when Kristen Timm, ARCUS administrator said “ Look, there is the Hottest Governor in the United States” as she has been publicly deemed by media and fans.
Of course I had to check out the “Hottest Governor in the US” and quickly turned to see her pregnant (she has since had her baby) with bags and daughter in tote..." |
This teacher has absolutely no reason to lie about the Governor being pregnant many months before any of us knew she was in the running to be VP.
Andrew Sullivan from the Atlantic posted about it too, ending with the call, Quote: | "So please give us these answers - and provide medical records for Sarah Palin's pregnancy - and put this to rest." |
Aren't we still waiting for public release of other records that are not forthcoming? Obama's records seem to be off limits, but Sarah Palin must prove her 17 year old daughter didn't have the baby, that she did?
This is a classic leftist smear with the left throwing out baseless rumor, spreading it far and wide, then demand we disprove it, offering only rumor, speculation and innuendo as their proof.
Some of the comments from the kooks at those places we don't mention are unbelievably crude and vile over this. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

Maybe this time the smear will blow up in their faces faster than a Weather Underground bomb maker's apartment and expose the kind of people who form the "Obama" base to the "undecided" voters and put the win in the McCain/Palin column in November. |

Tews, I believe this time the left went too far and only the furtherest left kooks will continue to spread this fabricated swill. And they are still pushing it.
The UK TimesOnline has picked up the rumor in a story on Mrs. Palin and says, Quote: | "If Mrs Palin, a conservative mother of five, ever doubted that landing on a national presidential ticket would open her to the harshest of spotlights and smear tactics, she also awoke yesterday to utterly unfounded internet rumours that her fifth child, born in April with Down’s syndrome, was actually her 17-year-old daughter’s." |
The leftists within our borders get sicker and sicker all the time. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

Rumors of the daughter being the mother of the baby have been put to rest. The family just announced the 17 year old is currently 5 months pregnant, intends to keep the baby and will marry the father.
The left should feel real proud of themselves for "outing" a 17 year old girl that has made a mistake in her life.

Our daughter is a registered nurse with now 4 children of her own. During her 3rd pregnancy, tests showed her unborn daughter had a hole in her heart. Prognosis was very serious, and all of the survival statistics looked bad. Steps were taken to be prepared for the worst, but ABORTION was NEVER considered. Olivia was born, and each day we were blessed with her presence, we thanked God. We had people all over the world praying for her healing. With each scheduled visit to the doctor, the hole seemed to be smaller. She still had a 50-50 chance for survival, but we never gave up hope. The day the hole finally closed, even the doctors were surprised. She had joined a very tiny minority of survivors, the vast majority of babies in this condition did not survive, even with surgery.
Today she is a beautiful, vivacious, precocious, dynamic three year old about to take her place in my wife's homeschool (with her own desk and complete set of school supplies and learning materials). She can count to 20 (and beyond if you let her), she knows all the major colors and some of the "nuanced" ones, she has a vocabulary that exceeds many adults, and she has a heart "perfected by God".
Our situation is not as drastic as Governor Palin's, and we are not facing the difficulties of a teenage out-of-wedlock pregnancy, but in some small way, we feel a deeper closeness with the Palin family through these trials. May God bless them for their pro-life decisions, and may He reserve a special place in Hell for the scum who have attacked them with lies about Governor Palin's baby and the attacks to come over her teenage daughter's misstep. At least the Palin's are holding true to their principles, and I believe they have increased their esteem in the eyes of everyone, even their detractors. |

From Obama's own words, we already know how he would advise his daughters should they find themselves in a similar situation. The left has a of of guts even mentioning anything about Palin's pregnancy, or her daughter's. ********, a pox on the lot of 'em! _________________ No whiners! |

Thanks, Lew, ain't it the truth! ...here's the rest of them before the addition of Olivia and our daughter's latest 1-year-old, Tristan, another perfectly healthy baby. This photo is somewhat dated, but still one of my favorite wallet photos. Valentine's Day a couple of years ago. The two older ones are the children of my son and his wife.

What the Leftist sewer-dwellers are doing is akin to kidnapping the Palin's teenage daughter and trying to extort the McCain campaign to remove Palin from the ticket...OR ELSE!
Sickening...I hope it blows up on them faster than a Weather Underground bombmaker's apartment. |
