As we all remember, during the 2004 campaign, it was the New York Sun's Thomas Lipscombe that was courageous enough to buck the system and write articles critical of John Kerry.
Seth Lipsky, editor of the Sun has announced that the paper will cease publication effective September 30, 2008.

| Regretfully inevitable Lew, as print media continues to go the way of the dinosaur. Doesn't lessen the sting, however, at the loss of a conservative voice within that medium. |

If they had to close, I only wish they had been last in line so they could have written the obituaries for the reprehensible rags that pass for newspapers today.
Suggested Headline: "New York Times is TOAST!". Subtext, the loss of billions of dollars in bad investments, contributions to crooked politicians, loans to deadbeats and illegal aliens that will never be repaid, corruption, and a host of other bad business decisions has let to the "Old Grey Whore" closing the doors on her brothel for good effective TODAY....good riddance.
