[...the last part of his drivel pretty wells sums up the idiocy of the Kerry/Obama apeasement-negotiate-do-nothing policy that will allow the bad guys to consolidate power and kill off any hope of ever overthrowing them]

...The last thing we should do is give Mr. Ahmadinejad an opportunity to evoke the 1953 American-sponsored coup, which ousted Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh and returned Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi to power. Doing so would only allow him to cast himself as a modern-day Mossadegh, standing up for principle against a Western puppet. [Hey, Bozo, there are NO American puppets in the game. Both sides are represented by IRANIAN HARD-LINERS.]

Words are important. President Obama has made that clear in devising a new approach to Iran and the wider Muslim world. In offering negotiation and conciliation, he has put the region’s extremists on the defensive. [Show me an example of where the extremists are on the defensive, especially due to Obama's rhetoric. Jimmy Carter wants Obama to take Hamas off the Terrorist list. Is that what you mean?]

We have seen the results of this new vision already. His outreach may have helped to make a difference in the election last week in Lebanon, where a pro-Western coalition surprised many by winning a resounding victory. [We ALL know Obama and his policies had NOTHING to do with these victories, but Kerry and Obama want to take credit for everything good that happens even when it happens IN SPITE of their policies and rhetoric and destructive foreign policy.]

We’re seeing signs that it’s having an impact in Iran as well. Returning to harsh criticism now would only erase this progress, empower hard-liners in Iran who want to see negotiations fail and undercut those who have risen up in support of a better relationship. [Wrong again, loser. It would put MORE pressure on them and inspire the PEOPLE to turn them out. NOT supporting the PEOPLE and helping them take out the crippled, corrupt regime with it staggering and in disarray demoralizes THE PEOPLE and inspires the BAD GUYS, just as happened in Vietnam when the press misrepresented the results of the TET Offensive. The IRANIAN PEOPLE will HATE the U.S. more than the families of those betrayed at the Bay of Pigs debacle. They will remember who supported them (the French for crying out loud)...and who refused to get involved and "sat it out". What Kerry and Obama advocate is exactly the WRONG approach, but what else would you expect from their ilk?]

John Kerry, Democrat of Massachusetts, is the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Using Rahm Emanuel's philosophy of taking advantage of every crisis, this would be the perfect time to provide clandestine support to the IRANIAN PEOPLE. We could effect the same outcome we achieved in Iraq without a decade of American boots on the ground war and nation-building and lost American lives. Unleash the Iranian People and provide them the arms and support they need. Use the most powerful bully pulpit in the world with its "new solidarity with the PEACEFUL Muslim World Community" to marginalize the current rogue regime and bring pressure from BOTH worlds. The bad guys are bringing in Hezbolah and Hamas thugs, we have already been accused of "interfering", so the outside "interference" is already in progress and is a moot point now. This is the time...sadly, we lack the leadership, so an historic opportunity is being missed. The Mullahs and hard-liners are inflicting the blows, but the blood of these brave young fighters for freedom is on Obama's and Kerry's and Clinton's hands, too.

Seems to me, matters in Iran are at their worst since 1979.

Kerry thinks that is an improvement?

And while all this is going, people dying for freedom and standing up, alone this time, what does the 'O' do?

Congratulate himself on swatting a fly.

Maybe he should be swatting Kerry's head instead.

Oh, if only we could trap Kerry and release him outside somewhere, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, anywhere except the US Senate. Laughing Wink
