Steve just interviewed on Bill Orielly and he did not do well.

This is serious buisness and you are going up against "GOLIATH". Swiftees are going to have to be better prepared.

I watched the interview and I thought Steve did well. Why do you think he did not do well?

He did OK...got 2 points in that O'Reilly had no counter for. But O'Reilly stated an ABSOLUTE FALSEHOOD when he declared that Kerry was TREATED by J C Carreon and NOT Dr. Letson!!!!!!!!!!

Also, Steve came up with a GREAT response when O'Reilly was trying to get him to respond to:"Well, he was at least BRAVE wasn't he"?

Steve was non-committal...O'reilly came at him AGAIN with the same question... Steve thought it over, and responded...

"Well...he was doing HIS JOB". GOOD DAMN ANSWER STEVE!

Whoever wrote the thread about the treatment situation should e-mail O'Reilly. He needs an education from someone who has firsthand knowledge about how things work.

Steve came across as credible. I particularly liked where he wouldn't let O'Reilly call the blatant lie about Cambodia an "embellishment."

What you see, though, is how the mainstream media wants to spin this. Now that they know it's not a lie and not a matter of interpretation, "it doesn't matter." That was O'Reilly's words, and look for them more and more. Obviously it does matter, and it needs to be put into context that Kerry told that lie on the floor of the Senate committee that investigated Col. (ret.) Oliver North for---lying.

I am one hundred and fifty percent behind the Swiftees, but Bill Orielly got to sum it up and leave the average dumb... american with Kerry is still a Hero. As long as Kerry remains a "Hero" then we fail.

He only had 5 minutes and the main point lost was O'Reilly's claim that Louis Letson did not treat Kerry. That should be vetted through the medic who signed the sick bay form. Is J C Carreon available for interview?

I thought Steve did a good job of establishing why Kerry could not have been in Cambodia since the current spin by the Kerry campaign is that he may have thought he was in Cambodia.

Nah Mr. Gardner did well. It's true that O'Reilly kept harping on the "not on Kerry's boat thing" but you can't stop that. O'Reilly said he thought the SBVfT had some valid points. That means he's open to doing more shows about it.

Also, O'Reilly promised to ask Kerry about Cambodia. I can't wait. Steve laid that predicate, and that will pay off.

O'Reilly kept sputtering the baseless, "you're the only vet on the boat to speak out aginst him" route. Mr. O apparently didn't do his homework. Boats were organized into units and all the men shared the same living quarters..............................C'mon O'Reilly be prepared.

Why did O'Reilly not give Gardner the last word? That's his usual MO when dealing with lefties.

O'Reilly will get behind this when all is said and done. He will challenge Kerry to come on his show.
