Theories abound, but why did McChrystal participate in such a damaging interview? Was he ordered to allow full access? Underlings are being quoted as saying the troops are glad this has come to a head because of the ROE he has imposed that are handcuffing them. They want them lifted so they can have a fair chance to engage the enemy, call in and expect support when they are under fire regardless of where the "civilians" are, and win the war. Anyone have an answer? Most of the damaging "quotes" are not from McChrystal but from his staff. _________________ Find the perfect babysitter, petsitter, or tutor -- today! |
