One major difference, Joe McCarthy was largely correct, Kerry isn't.

I've listened to Patrick Moore (Greenpeace Founder and former member) several times. He says that he left Greenpeace when it began to get filled with communists and socialists all with Leftist agendas.
Moore actually has a head on his shoulders. He advocates the harvesting of trees to reduce the chance of fires. He advocates Conservation as apposed to Environmentalism and he's states that man-made global warming is just communist bunk.
I could actually respect this guy.
