The tide is finally starting to turn. For the first few days I was concerned. Even FOX was dumping on the Swiftvets. This finally seems to be changing, although O'Reilly in being a total Jackass about this. _________________ Ed Liptak

I know I have e-mailed Sean several times - I even e-mailed Alan tonight saying vets have the right to be heard. I have also e-mailed most Fox channel, ABC, CBS and NBC - actually I did get a respsonse back from Nightline. I am going to continue to bug the hell out of these people until they report the story. It is up for us to decide the "truth". Swift vets have already caught Kerry in one lie - Cambodia. Now they are scrambling to CYA. We will see what kind of spin they put on it. But I will continue to e-mail these new sources until I see it across the board and just not on Fox. _________________ Born to raise a little hell! |

I too have been watching the coverage, and thank God, our guys are getting the hang of this. They have taken measure of their adversary and are sharpening the message.
One thing which has to be clarified more, and John did touch on this. Rassman is assumed by the media to have been a shipmate of Kerry. Apparently these ignoramuses in the media don't realize that typically soldiers do NOT serve on a naval vessel (although the Army DOES have its own fleet of amphibs). They will criticize John for not being a shipmate or serving concurrently with Kerry, merely Kerry's successor as C.O. of the vessel, but Rassman spent only ONE day on the boat, and so I guess that qualifies him to be a better judge of character than the other Swift C.O.'s and the division C.O., who, as John said, slept, ate and fought with Kerry on a daily basis for months. If Rassman, whose service (and gratitude for not being left in the drink) I respect, is fit to be a judge, then all the more, Kerry's fellow division officers, C.O., et al. The Leftpress can't have it both ways - it's just another measure of their inconsistency, ignorance and willful distortions in service of Demo-socialism. _________________ Cunctator.

Kerry being caught in a flat out lie about Cambodia 1968 may be what turned the tide. _________________ "If he believes his 1971 indictment of his country and his fellow veterans was true, then he couldn't possibly be proud of his Vietnam service." |

We can't equate, sadly, honesty with electability. Look at that bed wetter Clinton! The public knew he was dishonest, parasitic, primordial ooze and elected him the first time. He was worse next time and what do we do??
Catching this rodent in a lie will probably get him more votes in the end as they wiil conclude "Hey, look, Kerry's a lying sack of crap!!! He's just like me!! Where do I vote?"
May I point to the "Democrat's get out the felon vote underway in Florida?" _________________ Better a sister in a whore house than Teeraysuh in the White House. |

O'Neill was really the first one to take the fight to John Kerry on the Dick Cavett show with his 'debate' with Kerry. I was really impressed with him when c-span aired that and it's great he is attempting to make Kerry answer for his charges yet again when Kerry is attempting to hide it. |

That's the one thing that even got my attention "before" this broke.
I was an airdale (plane captain) on an aircraft carrier ... in 1970, I got "the armed forces expeditionary medal" for 'illegally invading Cambodia'. I did nothing more or less special than the other 1000 aboard who also got it. I'm wondering, is this the "illegal invasion" Kerry referred to? I took it as such. If so, there should be over 2000 sailors able to testify that this actually happened in 1970.
