The Major New Media are either trying to kill the story of ignore it. There are two reasons for this:

1. The major new media is biased and want to elect John Kerry. That is very obvious to even the most casual observer.

2. They are determined to keep the internet, specifically bloggers, from getting a stranglehold on the news, while wrestling it away from them. If they would do their job and investigate, blogging would not be necessary, and niether would this web page.

Since the Major News Media refuses to do thier job, it is necessary for us to force them to do so. This is something we must do.

I suggest that anyone who posts here include their blog or web page. Then we need to go to that page and send it to the Major New Media.

The Major New Media must be forced to realize that bloggers vote and we are also political junkies who watch their shows.

Fox News, ABC News & MSNBC websites have nothing on their homepage about Swiftvets, the book or Kerry in Vietnam. CBS news still has a Aug 9th story.

The old two days and let it fade trick.

We must be vigilant. Encourage everyone you know to send emails, letter to the editors, etc.

If we do not it may very well fade away.

At some point soon Senator Kerry will have to answer whether or not he was in Cambodia on 24 December, 1968. The news will be he either is a serial liar, or SBVT lied. The weight of the evidence is--well, Kerry was more than nuanced on this one.

Yes. We need to keep this story alive and hammer home John Kerry's need to answer the Cambodian Question.

I've been trying to think of a way to describe how the press is
trying to burry this story. So far the best I've come up with is:

Swag the Dog

They certainly are not trying to create a story where there is none
Like with 'lies about WMD's' .
This is very much the opposite, they are doing a bit of magician like
missdirection. Pretending there is no 300# gorrila stuck in a elevator
with them, or pink Elephant.

It's no surprise that the major media is sitting on this story, or at best, reporting it from a slanted viewpoint to slight the SWIFT Vets. But despite their best efforts, or lack thereof, the story that this site was created about, is ALL OVER THE PLACE! Smile There are TONS of net and radio sources carrying it constantly. Limbaugh is referring to it again as I type this right now. And he's the most listened to radio show in the country, with over 20 million listeners daily. That's massive, and it's on FOX news being reported fairly, and all over the net and other radio shows. kerry is scared and so are his people, otherwise he wouldn't be threatening the Vets like he is, and sending lawyers out to block this ad. As long as we all send the truth of these vets to the media as much as we can, it will get out there and educate the voters who do not know the truth about kerry! Smile

Know truth, no kerry.

How about organized protests (or, rather, informational efforts about SwiftVets and the media avoidance of the story) in front of the major offices of the media? Imagine a hundred people with posters outside the New York offices of the media giants.

I have been following the Swiftboat Vets issue very close, and at first was very disappointed with the reporting. I more often than not side with O'Reilly, but in this case a rain puddle has more depth. Last night I listened to Buchanann interview O'Neill, and both hit a home run.

I want to thank the SBVT for keeping this alive. We simply cannot let a lying sociopath become the next POTUS.
