I'm a Past Post Commander of V.F.W. Post 5690 (1987-8. I was the first Viet-Nam Vet to be same. Most Nam vets remember that the VVAW (with John Kerry) and Jane Fonda were of the same ilk. I fear that when Kerry gets up in front of a bunch vets he will not be able to speak. I know that we should be respectfuf of a U.S. Senator, but a V.F.W. Should be interesting to see the reception he gets. Hmmmmm, I wonder if the liberal media will televise all of his reception there.

Hey Mike, that's what I like to hear.

I know the Cambodia lie is very damning to Kerry's integrity but applying and receiving Purple Hearts for bandaid level injuries is just downright disgusting. Every American should be appalled that someone would treat such a recognition of sacrifice with such sacrilege.

Went to the VFW for the first time ever this year ,35 years,
I have ducked my head due to Kerry so in
Garland Tx., drank straight To/kill/you several times
could not understand why no one would talk to me
then went there one nite , the girl who runs the bar
had all her "no veterans of forgin wars buds there at the
shuffell baord" and we sat down near there, and
there was a pool game going on near us, one
of the players ask to use our ash tray, and we said
yes.

He then put his cig. out and stated, we call that a
"Bush" , we looked at one another and then sure
nough I had to ask , what does that mean?

Well , I'm a German citizen (he is drunk) and
we don't like this dam pres. Bush, he is a war
monger, and until he gets voted out, I'm not
going to even apply for citizenship in this sorry
country.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So as I have some warrants out, I prefered not
to just kick his ass out the door, and thinking
the VETERANS of WARS would do it for me.

I ask them to do so, they told me I was the
problem and to please leave.

To One More Captins Mast; I too felt resentment at the "V". It was said that if you wern't in the "Big One" you wern't sh**. The differance is I know I was in "A Big One " maybe not one they could relate to, so knowing in my own mind who I was, I took it upon myself to make what changes I could.
