Was at Tan Chau on Mekong River at PBR Mobile Base 2 . This Mobile Base was 3.5 miles from the Cambodia border & I was there during Kerry's claim to have taken his boat into Cambodia. We would have known it as NO Swift Boats were allowed in our Patrol area or Cambodia. We worked with and supported Seal Teams and we won't get into that.

I hope you guys continue to right the wrongs that Kerry has done to all of us who served with honor. I sent a contribution to SwiftVets.com & hope other Vets do also as it's money well spent to defeat a man who has used our fellow shipmates, lied about his service, and disgraced all of us and the US Navy. Any military Officer or Enlisted who supports his lies joins in his dishoner.

My name is Dave Schultz and I served in the USAF from 71 to 75.

My duty station for the most part was Homestead AFB -- but I was TDY to Thailand for 6 mos in 73.

I was a truck driver in the Motopooooooo

I support the military, I love my country, and I think George W. Bush is an honorable man who tries his best to do the right thing. I feel that Frenchie Kerry is a Commie and a traitor. It turns my stomach how he "Earned" his medals, how he betrayed veterans, his lies about his service, and his vison for America's future. He must be stopped.

I also run a anti-liberal forum at www.toptenweasels.com/forums that also has a veteran's forum -- and invite vets to visit it after visiting Swift Vets For Truth.

HEY GUYS !!!
I guess Kerry is telling the true (that he wasn't actually in Cambodia but was close) then that means that EVERYONE that served in VietNam was in Cambodia too, because we were all close (at least closer than anyone else East of the Los Angeles (geez, I hate it when I wake up and find out I didn't know where I was for 14 months, must have been that Tiger Beer huh) !!!

Hello all. My name is Jim Pobog. I'm 53, and was in the Navy Reserve from 1970 to 1976, with an active duty tour to S.E. Asia (WESTPAC) in 1972.

I was assigned to "B" Division (the boiler room) on board the U.S.S. Mispillion, AO105. My UNREP station was ship-to-ship phone talker on Station 6 (mid-ship, port side...the third station in the pic).

We ran between Yankee Station in the Tonkin Gulf, and Subic Bay in the Philipines, spending weeks at a time on station refueling countless carriers, destroyers, frigates and gunboats (PG). Never went in-country, but have been close enough to see the surf line, and the only Vietnam I ever saw was always North.

You guys are doing a wonderful job...keep up the good work. Very Happy

I have researched both sides on the internet and am appalled at what I have learned of John Kerry. I served stateside in the USAF from 74 to 78. Numerous friends who served in Vietnam. I am a fifth generation veteran (possibly 6th but can't confirm it).
War of 1812 - Pennslyvania LeFerve's Volunteers
Civil War - 21st New York Calvary
WWI - 5th Marines (lost both legs)
WWII - CVE 77 - USS Marcus Island
USAF SAC 15th AF

My name is Howard McCafferty and I'm "Reporting for Duty!" I've just discovered your "SwiftVets" and its refreshing to hear from fellow vets who have "been there and done that." I was in the Navy Mobile Riverine Force; Task Force 117; River Assault Squadron 11; Task Group 117.2; River Assault Division 111; Armored Troup Carrier T-111-9. I was the radioman, and port side 50 cal. gunner from 11/68 - 11/69. We operated NNW of Ga Dau Ha and Tan An near/on the Cambodian border. I was there for Christmas of '68, and I don't remember seeing JFK on any kind of "gunboat" unless it was a stealth boat. I would have remembered seeing a Switfboat that far up the smaller rivers. Our boats grounded sometimes, and it was difficult to nagivate the narrow channels. The surest way to counter Kerry is to get out and vote come November 2nd. "All that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Edmond Burke.

If John Kerry can do it, so can I. Reporting for duty. I was a 5 year college student and so graduated in 1972. I 'missed' going to Viet Nam by that 1 year. I served in the Army in Germany for over 3 years beginning in 1972 and returned to the States in 1975. I served with 1/94 Field Artillery for a year and 14th Finance for 2 years. Returning home I served at Ft Dix for about 6 months before leaving for civilian life. I'm proud to say that I have a son who is currently a 1st LT who served with the 3rd Armored Cav in Iraq and is now stationed in Ft Carson, CO. To all veterans, wherever you served.... THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!
