Admin and Everybody
O'neill is going to be doing a lot of interviews today.
The guy is so good. (Heard him on Hannity yesterday. )What can we do to tape record all his interview and put them on the internet. Even if it isn't this site.
If anybody is in range of any of the shows he is going to be on, could you at least tape it? See the "on the air" button on main page.
What can we do to transcribe the best of his stuff?
For educational purposes for the rest of us.

John O'Neill is very good and he will not back down. Alan Colmes threw everything but the kitchen sink at O'Neill and didn't lay a glove on him. That's what has the dems and libs scrambling. |

John O'Neill is obviously a brilliant guy. Here is his firm bio:
Born San Diego, California, February 19, 1946; admitted to bar, 1974, Texas. Education: United States Naval Academy (B.S., cum laude, 1967); University of Texas (J.D., summa cum laude, 1973). Order of the Coif. Member, Chancellors (Grand Chancellor, 1972-1973). Member, Texas Law Review, 1972-1973. Member, President's National Advisory Counsel on Supplemental Services and Centers, 1973-1974. Member, Federal Regulation of Securities Committee, Section of Corporation, Banking and Business Law, American Bar Association, 1978–. Law Clerk to Justice William H. Rehnquist, U.S. Supreme Court, 1974-1975.
That doesn't look like the resume of a political "dirty trickster." Notice that he graduated from the Naval Academy with honors. That would have been very hard to do, especially back then, when the hazing was a lot tougher than it is today.
I am fascinated with his performance debating Kerry back in '71. O'Neill would have been in law school at the time...a difficult time out to go to NY and engage in a tough, controversial debate on national tv. But he obviously had incredible grades that year anyway, because he made Law Review the following year, finally graduating summa cum laude...folks, that's like a 3.9 or higher. Ends up clerking on the Supreme Court for Rehnquist.
This is no political hack. I am certain he is telling the truth when he says he was contacted throughout the years by Kerry's political adversaries and he wanted no part of it. Let Massachusetts deal with him, he thought. But this is different. I got pretty choked up watching him the other night, when he said, this is about our children in the field. This is important. He fairly broke my heart with his earnestness, with his courage to face this onslaught for the love of his country. |
