Curiousity... If a war were to break out in the future, would swift boats be used again? It is my understanding that these were extremly dangerous to work on (which is among other reasons why I have the utmost respect for you all), so do you think advances have been made to these? I never hear about the government purchasing more Swift boats, or any other small boats, like I hear about new Bombers. Have our airforce replaced this because of our precision bombs? Obviously they don't serve much purpose in the middle east, but in Korea (hopefully we won't go there) I would imagine it might be similar to a point. I cout be completely wrong, thanks for any insight.
