Swiftees:

Even though a lot of the media elite keep skirting the issues raised by the new book and the Swiftees, you are getting major air time with some major players. Consider these: Fox, Sean, Rush, the entire Salem Radio Network (Hugh Hewitt, Savage, Laura, etc.). Our local flamethrower in Phila, 1210 AM, The Big Talker, has also been airing the issues. Take this package in total and you all are reaching over 50+ million people just in the last 2 weeks alone. Even Chris Mathews on Hardball covered the issues, but he's soft.

The DNC is trying like crazy to shut you up; but you've "unleashed hell" and they don't know how to handle it.

Keep getting those emails out to the media elite. We can break their back on this one.

Go Air Force!!! Medics, we're there when you need us.

Yep, the worst thing they could have done was to try to intimidate the television stations to keep them from airing the ad.

That gave Swifts just a HUGE amount of airtime and speculation.

"There's no such thing as negative publicity.

And they're running scared, as you can tell by the number of trolls we've had, trying to disrupt the conversation, here.

"Desperado..... why don't you come to your senses
You've been sitting on fences.... for so long now...."

Absolutely! And as long as the Kerry campaign fails to confront the issue head-on, it will continue hurting them. The best thing we can do is to keep asking questions that the DNC would outright refuse to answer. Unanswered questions guarantee that an issue will not die.

Yea but at what cost?

If what I read about the DNC and their Little Brown Books is true.....they will make combat in Vietnam seem like a cakewalk. Nobody can force you guys, but all we can do for you is lend moral support.

Very little it would seem. Check out the following article from FrontPageMagazine.com:

Legal Terrorism

The final paragraphs are thus:
Quote:

{Suing the TV stations] would be utter disaster—and Kerry’s lawyers have to know this. Kerry would no longer be able to hide behind spin masters. He would have to file a written complaint. Sworn depositions (including Kerry’s) would have to be taken. He would have to respond to requests for factual admissions. He would have to answer written interrogatories. He would have to produce documents.

There would have to be a trial. That means sworn testimony, cross examination, documentary evidence—all in front of a jury, reporters, perhaps even TV cameras.

Once all that happened, America would know who told the truth—and who lied.

It's easy to see why the DNC has resorted to a smear campaign against SVFT. It certainly looks as if the SwiftVets have outflanked the Kerry camp, and the only way for the Kerry camp to get out of it is to scuttle their own ship.
