I just watched Mr. John O'Neill on Hardball. What a total attack on the SwiftVets. I was disgusted by the bias that was shown. It was apparent that Chris Matthews knows nothing about the Navy. And it was also apparent that he would not let Mr. O'Neill, even finish his answers. Shame on MSNBC. Everyone who cares should e-mail that network and stand up for the SwiftVets and buy the book "Unfit for Command". _________________ Cali-HeyGirl....proud to be a CWO5 Navy wife! |

What I thought was really great was that John O'Neill waltzed through that bullying ambush without breaking a sweat, without raising his voice, without losing his point.
Matthews came off like a blustering madman and Hurley came off as smug and stuck to the Kerry talking points that weren't even washing YESTERDAY. "Had to be in the same boat," etc.
O'Neill won this one hands down - grace under fire! _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

I didn't see it, but read the transcript. Funny, Mathews didn't ask Hurley where HE was from (gasp! Massachusetts) or point out why HE might be biased (yet another lawyer who doesn't want tort reform). Don't see how with those credentials he ought to be allowed to speak about John Kerry and be believed. |
