I heard the interview on the Tony Snow show that this NewsMax article references.
It wasn't THAT bad. The Governator didn't declare his support for Kerry, but did talk about his friendship with the guy. It was actually pretty funny when Arnold said that he had played hockey with Kerry, and Tony Snow then asked if Arnold had ever body-checked Kerry into the wall! What a great mental image!
It's clear that Arnold disagrees with Bush on many issues, but he is officially still backing Bush. He said that he is so busy trying to fix California that he hasn't taken a day of vacation yet, and that he simply doesn't have time to make any Bush campaign appearances outside of his own state right now. |

Let's be fair, MCB. Schwarzenegger is doing more to support the Bush in this election than Bush did to support Schwarzenegger during the recall.
Schwarzenegger's values and ideology are tolerant, libertarian and fiscally conservative -- the only kind of Republican that is going to win a California election. Expecting him to put politics over relationships is not realistic or admirable. _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on? Take this quiz and decide for yourself.
