Hey Indianbaboon watch how you say that, The correct way is "Evil old B*stards with a beer belly". If the sh*t hit's the fan I will put my money on us old B*stards before Kerry's apple dumpling gang. You do know what SH*T sounds like when it hit's the fan don't you "MARRRRRINE". Semper Fi. _________________ Helicopter Marine Attack Squadron 169 which is now HMLA-169. What I find most annoying about the "political debate" in the country right now is that the "right" (if you will) has been talking to itself. We mostly agree on a basic concept of a American ideals and what it takes to defend them.
Any attempt to discuss these ideals with opponents turns into a shouting/name calling match ususally perpetrated by the "left" (if you will) in an attempt to side-track or stifle meaningful debate.
I just don't interject too much in these public debates because; it doesn't change many minds, and I refuse to lower myself to the "left's" standard of meanigful "debate", IE: shouting the opponent down.
FWIW. The saying "I love my country, but fear my Government", was something I heard during the 80's. _________________ A willing tool of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" since 1981. |

I know I do not belong on this page either, this is for you special Veterans out there. But I want to say that I think the Good Lord has a way of getting things reckoned with. You were not treated with the respect you all deserved when you came home. You went to fight, you went to win, but for some reason our politicians didn't want that. I think we still have the same old protesters that we had then, just a little older but none the wiser. They have never come to the defense of this country, you did, and all that came before you and after you did. God Bless You All. I had a friend killed in Viet Nam, just a good kid and it still hurts my heart to think about him, and it still hurts to think of what you all had to go through, but you know you came home and tried to get on with your lives. Some could a little bit better than others. It is people like you who stand between us, the American people and the bad guys. I would pick you guys and gals anytime. Thank you!!!! |
