It is now time for a new section. One we can click onto and locate each other by city and state. We need to be able to assemble face to face.
Demonstrations, raising money etc etc
How about a chat room, with a host who has the power to kick people out?

This was kicked up the chain a while back for approval.
I doubt that it's going to happen, but it might.
One thing to be very concerned about is that you do not really know WHO you are talking to, when you're chatting on the internet. This brings up some questions about liability.
There are already forums established for meeting up and protesting Kerry rallies and appearances, so there's also not the need to re-invent the wheel.
There's another thread going about this - I think a couple of our members are starting up a yahoogroup for the purpose of meeting others in their area. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

There is also the meetup.com site that is very effective for networking from the Internet into real life (I've used it for some of my professional activities).
It is used heavily for all stripes of causes and interests. _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on? Take this quiz and decide for yourself.

I will check out the meetup.com....there are several other members interested in something like this. That way whatever is done won't be directly associated with the Swifties. Back soon to let you know what I find. |

Personally I don't think that is the answer. There is another member looking at hitching up with another veterans group in order to compile a list of people by state that may be interested in getting involved in some way. We'll see what he comes up with.
The thing is, in the world we live in and everyone always so willing and eager to sue, we don't want to open up the Swifties to anything like that, so it is best if it is a totally seperate effort. We can still promote the book and fight Kerry on the claims of Unfit, just not here or under the banner of the Swifties. |
