I found this on Freedom Repuplic!

Keep it up SBV!

Additional Note: I live in Iowa. My hardcare, pro-Bush brother-in-law went to the Iowa State Fair today. He said, "I never thought I'd see the day that Iowa turned FOR Bush. But everywhere at the Fair today there were people walking around carrying 'Bush' yard signs!"
I pressed him further, and he said that all folks were talking about was the 'Kerry Vietnam thing' and the Cambodia story in particular and how mad they were. He was absolutely amazed.
He also said that the Democrat's booth was like a 'dead zone' and the Republican booth was swarmed to the point that he couldn't even get close to it. People milling around it, talking about the Kerry Vietnam stories and how mad they were.
He had come immediately to my house after he got back from the Iowa Fair to tell me about all of this and ask me what all the fuss was about. (His wife recently died, hence he's been way out of the news loop.)
When I filled him in on the details about Kerry, his jaw about hit the floor and he exclaimed, "No WONDER these people are so MAD!! I NEVER thought I'd see the day that Bush took Iowa, but I've gotta tell ya... he's gonna win this state BIG TIME!" _________________ This space for rent! |

If Bush is going to take Iowa, a lot of you are going to need to volunteer to help out and spread the word about this site, and go to the Bush for President site, sign up and volunteer to help the campaign.
If not, you are simply dreaming.... |

I've said this before. We have to spread the word.
However, if you join the Bush/Cheney campaign, fine. Just remember, the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth, by law, cannot coordinate any activities with any political party or campaign!
You're welcome to provide the support you choose where you choose. Just remember; this effort is not part, or even related to, the campaign to re-elect George W. Bush! _________________ Bye bye, Boston Straggler! |

Well, that's good news. Maybe there's hope yet. I would feel much better if Kerry was averaging a few points behind Bush in national polls, rather than a few points behind. But we still got the Republican national conventional to get through and the 9/11 anniversary, which should result in a bounce for Bush. |

And if he can go down with the knowledge that 80% of the veterans and active duty in this country came out just to vote against HIM...
Ahhhhh.... the opportunity to see karma in action is so seldom - PLEASE let this be one of those occasions!!!!!
Vets could take him down all by themselves if we can get everyone registered, educated as to what he has done and driven to the polling place if necessary.... _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

I also live in Iowa. This state is still pretty close in the polls...too close to call yet. The state fair makes for a pretty unscientific poll, but it's interesting anyway.
Gore only beat Bush by 4,000 votes in Iowa. During the Florida recount mess it was revealed that there were also questionable ballots in our state, but we weren't worth enough electoral votes to justify going down the same litigious road as in Florida.
Now since the beginning of the War on Terror, Iowa has sent the most troops overseas to fight since WWII. (My husband being one of them) As you probably know, most of our troops in Iraq write home that they believe in what they are doing over there. Knowing someone that is serving in a war makes people think a little bit more about what that service means, and I think it opens their minds up to what the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth are saying. If it's unfair to blame all US soldiers for the abuses at Abu Ghraib, then hey...maybe Kerry's claims about widespread war crimes in Vietnam weren't right either.
Frankly, I suspect that having so many Iowans in Iraq is why Kerry won our caucus here in the first place. They wanted a war veteran. If only more people here had known the Swift Boat Vets story the caucus might have gone differently. The same factor that won it for him might defeat him in the end. |

I'm a member of an online war gaming group of about 350 folks from around the world. I put a comment beside my MSN messenger name last week and have since been swamped with people thanking me for the link.
My comment?
