I would rather see a Swift Vet Press Conference before another Ad is created and run.

I just watched the ad again..I have to say I think the ad is very very solid, its hard to imagine it being much better. I am sure there are other topics too, but the existing ad is just so very good.

I think a Press conference with all the Swift Vets that were quoted in the book, the largest group of the 60 possible, be gathered for reporters to deliver and updated message, along with a Press Release, and then just stand up, and answer as many question as they ask.

Be sure to rent the hall for as many hours as it take, do not conclude the Press conference until they run out of questions.

If you really want to make it "news worthy", you can have a guy with a computer, who will be taking questions from Web Bloggers. Just set up a private chat room and invite some of the main WebBloggers into that Chat....I would limit it to no more than 10 of them. The Bloggers are Web savvy and probably volunteer to set up the entire thing.

I think my idea for this would in fact be the first Press Conference specifically designed to bring in Bloggers over the Internet....somewhat of a news event itself.

The other advantage of bringing in the Bloggers is that their question will be so much more informed than the AP and Reuters establishment.

Even if the mainstream media skips out on the cheap, this press conference might be able to give some the excellent web slueth the tidbits they need to research more of their stories.

That is my idea...thats my vote.....Do the Press Conference Next.

The Swiftees could rotate questions between the actual reporters and the bloggers. The mainstream media could ask their ridiculously stupid questions and the well informed would have a voice in between. The media would be FORCED to make public the real questions and answers by way of shared blogger / mainstream media time.
