John O'Neill is doing a really good job of defending himself - by not requiring a defense.

He is calm, careful, firm in his statements, never breaks a sweat, never yells back at the people who shout him down. He just sits there with a "look at this raving idiot" smile on his face and waits until there is a break enough for him to get a word in - and when he does, it's a poisoned arrow.

Which of course sets off the raving all over again.

You notice that they cannot attack the facts - they attack the funding, they imply that Swifts are tied up various and sundry wing-nuts - but they're not going to be able to disprove any of the facts laid out in the book.

IMO - let 'em rant and rave. If people want calm and rational explanation, they will find this site.

Of course, everyone who belongs to this site is free to do whatever they want to do with regard to these attacks - I'm not telling anyone what to do off this board, just pointing out the shinier side of the coin.

I just wrote a comment there and it is not nice, (no swearing, of course
that is what the liberals do when stuck for a comment).
I like to just tell them there lies are getting so boring! Boring is good
as they would never think of their lies not getting us in a real snit.
Cool like O'Neill is the way to go!

Those who say O'Neill smears kerry, it's not true. The truth is that kerry smeared the entire generation of military who served, and many who died in Vietnam. No matter if you think it was or was not a just war, remember two things: Firstly, the war was started by a democrat administration and ended by a republican administration. Secondly, supporters of kerry on this issue add insult to injury and they should be ashamed.

The fact is simple, the left wants to win at any cost...even desecrating our war dead is politically correct in their play book.
