I know you won't be surprised, but they are not addressing the issues still....same old same old. Too bad they spent so much money for such a pathetic ad. |

Its great that they are wasting their money ... Plus if they keep it up there is a chance they will get caught "coordinating" with Kerry in violation of the campagin finance laws ... That would be sweet ... _________________ JJC

Hmm, interesting. I had not thought about that. This ad blasts President Bush for the guard, but THEN it promotes Kerry's service. Man if that is not over the line it is dangerously close. |

If this ad makes anyone look bad, it's John McCain. |

Someone should sue (NOT SWIFT Vets...) MoveOn for violation of law, i.e. coordinating with Kerry ... _________________ JJC

If this ad is all they have, they are running scared.
And they are taking a huge risk in slamming Bush for his service in the guard because, by doing so, they are putting the “release military records” argument back on the table and this argument has become a real looser for Kerry and the democrats. |

Senator McCain should and must denounce this commercial with the same vigor he did the SBVT. |

What else to call MoveOn.org PAC's new advertisement? This is essentially [m]edia extortion. First, there is the "threat," the tired and rehashed allegations concerning President Bush and his National Guard Service. Need evidence? Don't need any evidence with George Soros' largesse to back our unsubstantiated claims. Then there is the "demand." Pull the SBVT advertisement that is damaging "our" candidate or else! This is extortion and the millions of dollars of Democratic donations including that of George Soros are aiding and abetting this criminal activity. This is another miscalculation by the "FOKs" (Friends of Kerry). How arrogant is this group? How dangerous is more to the point? |

First, you are right. These people are dangerous. They were dangerous when we faced the communists in the Cold War. They are dangerous as we face Islamist radicals today. They would even impose their extreme left-wing ideology, which includes squelching free speech, on all of us.
Their threat, nevertheless, is laughable. They trotted this crap out time and time again before the SBVT came to the fore. They assume there is some hotline between the SBVT and Karl Rove that could force the former to cease and desist.
Unlike the Soros drones, the SBVT are exactly that--FOR TRUTH. And to quote Jack Nicholson...well, you know.
The SBVT commercials will continue. The threatened extortion increases donations.
These people, and their previously unanswered lies and smears, are toast.
I only hope that Senator McCain's reported criticism of MoveOn.org produced a sound bite we can throw back in their faces.

It is extortion, pure and simple. And a 10 year old could figure out the connection between that ad coming out from Moveon.org today and the DNC mouthpieces coming out on the same day and demanding that Bush hush up the Swiftvets, or at least denounce them.
And their demand of Bush is absolutely meaningless. What if Bush came out with some lukewarm 'Naughty, naughty' message towards the Swiftvets now? Everybody on earth would know it was simply because he was pushed into it! What good would it do Kerry, these people are truly delusional! |

Hell No!
We should encourage them to show it the ad more often in more places
I cannot think of a better advertisement to generate interest in buying
"Unfit for Command" and asking questions to compare the silly attacks
on "the other guy" with the in depth analysis of what we are presenting.
I would much rather be spending George Soros' money than our own.
Go Moveon Go!

What really blows me away is the thought that the President, no matter who it is would have the right or the authority to demand that the Ad be pulled. Thats Third Reich stuff. |

Under the McCain Feingold law - which spawned such activities as this - it is illegal for the candidate to have any connection with the 527 involved.
So, they're screaming for the President to break the law. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
