To think at one time I thought John Kasich was Vice Presidential material. His show on Sat. night called Heartland was a huge disappointment. He morphed into a Republican Chris Matthews. Just another political hack who only believes in free speech for politicians and cheap shot artists like him and O`Reilly. |

I just lost all respect for Kasich...
Take heart, Swifties.. When Widemouth is calling for the ad to stop, we are hurting them more than the are telling... |

Part of the problem at least for now seems that a few key Republicans and the Conservative Media like O'Reilly may see this as an honest and noble attempt to correct Mr. Kerry's lies and Vindicate the Veterans who served with honor, but they are afraid it will cost them points or the election. I think that shows a lack of moral courage, and a huge misjudgment of the validity and persuasiveness of the book and this cause. I think this will change as the public starts to understand how relevant all this is to Iraq and the very future of this country. just my opinion however. _________________ __________________________

The BOR Premium members are also sick of Susan Estrich - she lacks common intellegence, sounds like she's dying of smoke inhalation and her tounge his disgustingly yellow. The petition for John O'Neill to be heard on the Factor is still being signed on the PM website. I don't know what is up with BOR and the lefties these days but It seems Brit and Hannity are the only people defending the truth in it's entirety these days. _________________ Support your Troops and your Country

Brit Hume also seems to know the truth... I've converted from O'Reilly to Hume.

I will line out O'Reilly and Kasich from future viewing...someone inside must be directing them to quash the swift boat veterans for truth by showing their disdain for all 527's. These anti swift boat shows are a victory for moveon.org that just publishes lies and smears with a free pass and now they lead the fight to destroy the swift boat veterans, whatever happended to fairness and democracy? I may have to go back and watch the Citizen Kane movie to see how those events compare to current events..

I want to give all of you something to do about ORIELLY and his little buddy Kaisich. Do the following:
Watch the Factor with the volume muted. Have a pen and paper with you. Every time a commercial comes on, write down the name of the buisness or product. Make a list and add to it every time his program is on.
NEXT. Email every one of these buisnesses and tell them that you really love their product and/or services but you are going to boycott them until their advertisements quit showing up on the Orielly program. In addition, call and speak with someone if possible.
They dont really have a say as to which programs on Fox news their products are advertised. HOWEVER, the company who pays FOX will make complaints about OREILLY. and FOX news will have ole Bill adjust his comments.
Everyone here has to agree to do it though. And carry through with it. Someone or two or three can put the list together and we can all as individuals call the company and complain.
This is just the tip of the iceberg for taking the media back. |

Make sure that you tell them WHY, though.
It's not a simple matter of a disagreement - it's the fact that these Vietnam Veterans have the right to be heard.
Especially since everything they've put out there is completely documented and backed up with facts.
To dismiss them out of hand without even a fair hearing is stabbing them in the back all over again! _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

I think the boycott idea is a good one, I am not the best at writing formal letters, next time I watch the show I can view the commercials though. _________________ Support your Troops and your Country

Email just sent to OReilly:
Okay, that one about does it for me. John Kasich and Susan Estrich using your show for a tag team against Swiftvets with no opposition. How do you plan on responding to the latest lie concerning Kerry's first Purple Heart. Claiming he was being shot at and then nine days later in his own journal he states "A cocky feeling of invincibility
accompanied us up the Long Tau shipping channel because we hadn't been shot at yet,
and Americans at war who haven't been shot at are allowed to be cocky.'"
Bill, seriously, start doing your job. You chose the wrong side on this issue. That's okay, but have the character to admit it and do the right thing.

Bill O’Reilly is not a news anchor. He is a news commentator. He does not report the news; he only comments on the news. This is a very important point and I’ve heard him make it repeatedly on his show.
As a commentator, he gives us his views and only his views and he is under no obligation to be fair or balanced in doing so. It would be different if he portrayed himself as someone who was “reporting” the news.
That said, when I watch his show, I expect him to have a guest who opposes his views and, in doing so, I expect to hear a (fair and balanced) debate on the issue. This does not seem to be the case with last night’s show.
Based on what I’ve read here (I did not see the show), it sounds like John Kasich (or perhaps O’Reilly’s producers) should have had someone on the show to defend the 527 groups instead of that Kerry toady, Susan Estirch. (Who, I’m sure, used the opportunity to make it look like Bush was somehow behind the ad).
In my opinion, this particular lineup was wrong and quite unfair to the 527s in general and the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth in particular.
I will also make these views known to Fox but I doubt it will do much good.
Also, if O’Reilly does not agree with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, I hope it’s only because he is still doing his job and investigating their claims. I want the media to be very skeptical in covering this story because, eventually, that skepticism should shift towards Mister Kerry.
Also, let’s not be too quick to condemn the only outlets that have been willing to give these guys an opportunity to tell their story. If we did not have Cable TV News stations and the Internet, there is little chance this story would ever be told because the mainstream media is still not covering it (no surprise there).
