The other 4-star referred to above as joining Wes Clark in demanding Bush renounce is Admiral Stansfield Turner, former Director CIA (during Carter I think) and a carrer politician while in the service. _________________ Retired USN Capt.; Market Time vicinity ChuLai 6/67-2/68; Maddox 8/64 Tonkin Gulf; NGFS I Corps 6-12/65; Saigon evac. 4/75. |

Thanks! I missed the early showing, but will get to see it at 11pm CST. -- Don't know why they have Juan in a panel "discussion" - he doesn't seem to think! Just yaks on and on. I usually MUTE him. Anyway - looking forward to the show! |

God Bless you John O'Neil and all SwiftVets.
You are serving your country well.
This was a first rate piece. Can't be ignored.
Brit Hume deserves a "Fair and Balanced" award. |

We are not going to get much action from the New York bureau of Fox News. Brit Hume and Chris Wallace are in the Washinton Bureau and they are the consummate professionals. I am trying hard to convince them that a 2 hour special on this swift boat story with the actual crewmates of Kerry on one side and our guys on the other will provide an effective forum. The American people deserve to know the truth. |

Hume is the Managing Editor of Fox News, which hopefully carries some weight, even in the New York bureau. His not O'Reilly, but he's up there in terms of the Fox heirarchy. (BTW, do you think Mr O is saving himself the option of a Road to Damasacus on this? It will be so much more convincing if he's able to say he didn't believe it to start with, but is now worried about Kerry's record. Mr O likes to come across as party-neutral, so taking his time will help him maintain this image and give him time to see whether the SBVFT get any traction.) |

You are correct as far as the ratings games go about O'Reilly v. Brit Hume...however, Hume IS a "wheel" at Fox News and has had a long and distinguished career in the media....he has also known Kerry since boyhood...and from what I gather from reading between the lines over the last year or so, he doesn't hold Kerry in the highest regard.... |

I was hoping your senerio on O'reilly was going to happen. however after seeing kasich sit in for bill tonight I have my doubts. How is having susan etrich on and agreeing with her, fair and balanced? If I want that kind of stuff I'll watch hardball. |
