The reason I ask is because Kerry has talked about the turrent having "100 bullet holes".

They had some plating, but remember: This is a Swift Boat. It can't carry a lot of thick, steel armor. They didn't have Kevlar back then.

No, it was just 1/4 inch aluminum but some would hang flak jackets over the sides. I would like to hear where you heard jfk talk about 100 holes in the turret?
