Thanks Jette,
That Washington Times one is particularly damning.

GOOD MORNING, VIETNAM!!!!
Not only is the Washington Times running a three part series, but Part 1 this morning is the TOP story, ABOVE the fold, in BOLD type, including a prominent Vietnam-era picture of a swift boat. I just saw it in the newsstand as I walked into work here in Washington--it is a beautiful thing. Especially beautiful is seeing the liberal Washington Post next to the Times, with still no mention of the story. The Times is forcing the Post's hand--I'd love to hear the cursing this morning in the editors' offices of the Post now that they have to decide whether to run the story or continue to ignore it.
The Times just gave this story some major, major legs!!! And even if the liberal press tries to knock the story down with pro-kerry spin, the truth will be out and the people will be able to judge on our own, without the editors deciding what we will and will not read. |

BRAVO TO THE WASHINGTON TIMES!
The headline is: Kerry's fellow 'Swiftees' dispute his Purple Hearts
Not only is it splashed all across the top of the paper right under the Times header, but there are two articles:
1. Excerpt 1 of 3 from the book continues inside and takes up the ENTIRE page--all six columns!
2. "Kerry camp denies hiding war records"
Then, on the Editorial page is an editorial called "Intentional mischaracterization" AND
on the opposite page are two columns
1. "The Cambodian candidate: Kerry needs to answer questions directly" by Tony Blankley.
2. "Secret missions in Cambodia: Kerry's dubious tale" by Andrew Antippas. |
