One mor email ... want to bet if I ever hear anything?

Dear Senator McCain,

Recently you publicly condemned the television ad produced and aired by Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. The speed with which you took this action suggests strongly that you did not have time to check out the organization or the truthfulness of the information before making your pronouncement.

Since all the the checking that I have done seems to support the statements made, and also supports that the organization itself is made up of well meaning and honorable veterans interested in defeating Senator Kerry in his bid for President, and all the financing has been in accordance with the law ... I am disheartened with your actions. I believe you reacted before taking the time to look into the facts.

Since your pronouncement produced immediate nationwide ... and worldwide ... media exposure, and has had a substantial negative affect in terms of President Bush's reelection efforts ... I would like an answer to the question of why you acted so rapidly to castigate an ad and the actions of the Swift Boat Veterans when their information could be a powerful argument to help defeat Senator Kerry?

As a republican, a veteran, and one of your constituents, it gave me the impression that you were more interested in Senator Kerry's reputation than in helping to win reelection for President Bush.

If you continue to have doubts as to the accuracy of claims made by the Swiftboat Veterans, a full release of the Senator's military records would allow comparison that will prove whether truth or untruth is present. I would like to see you request the Senator to release his full record ... in public, with media representatives present so coverage would be accomplished ... so this matter might be put to rest.

I would appreciate your direct and personal response.
