Don't bet on it. It appears to be just another toned down attack, to me. They aren't very kind to Thurlow and have the following paragraph about the Cambodia incident;

Quote:
One of them, Jim Wasser, told USA TODAY they were "within 50 yards of Cambodia" on a river where "the left bank was Cambodia and the right bank was Vietnam." He said the crew didn't take mortar fire on the border but did so two or three hours later in Vietnam. "He got his operations mixed up," Wasser said, referring to the Cambodian operations that Kerry's second boat, PCF-94, undertook. "I really don't think that he did it on purpose."

Nothing's perfect, but I think that article is a net Plus for the Swift Vets.

Gee, I hope Jim Wasser wasn't the navigator, 'cause the way I read the map, the river isn't a boundary between the countries. The Cambodian boarder runs perpendicular to the river.

Maybe he got that from something he saw in "Apocalypse Now".

It's funny you say that... Each time I see a Kerry-ite talking head now, I keep hearing the Doors "This is The End." Wink

I had thought about that. How do you have one bank of the river being Cambodia, and the other Nam, when the river is not the boundary?
