It's a hit piece.
It deliberately confuses citations as proof and is basically dismissive of all the Swift Boat members.
But absolutely nothing new. At least that's a good sign. Believe me, they are digging deep on this one and if it helps the Swift Boat case the NY Times is not going to tell us about it.
There is nothing new because they can't find anything new. But they will keep looking. _________________ Talking point #1: Sign 180

I really don't care if they discover the Swiftees are minions of the Netherworld at this point...
They aren't the issue.
Mr. Kerry's record IS the issue (he made it so).
Facts is facts!

I live within the NYTimes delivery area. In NJ.
The NYTimes has no credibility anymore.
Years of publishing phony stories have relagated to a tabloid status.
No one believes anything written in the NYTimes.
They didn't just have one reporter making up stories it was more
like 6 reporters over a span of years. Two editors knew about it.
But as long as the "stories" ( and they were just made up stories),
conveyed the underlining politics of the Liberal establishment,
they printed anything.
Even the most liberal New Yorkers don't trust the NYTime's "facts". |

NortonPete,
Yes, but this is even worse. They make an offhand comment about three bullet holes from enemy fire. There is only one source document for that...and that is the Spot Report of 13 Mar 69 which was found on the Kerry site. You can find my full analysis of that on Beldar's Blog, but I concluded that that spot report was 75% likely written by none other than John Kerry.
I based this off of:
The classification of the document (confidential)
The originating ID in the header
The fact that (see first point) an officer would have to write it and there were only three left after the action.
The fact that the spot report uses meters. Yards and Nautical miles are proper in a military doc. This implies a European education and mindset (i.e. thinks metric)
There are other pointers.....but my conclusion while not totally conclusive is damning: The NYTimes got their info straight from Kerry himself. _________________ -Polaris

Polaris,
I agree with your comments.
The NYTimes will be printing stories about
"Alien babies" next month to try to boost circulation.
They are totally discredited. |
