Please help me respond to this idiot that I'm dealing with on my local message board here in Wisconsin.
I posted a very good response that was taken from this board, listing from A. to G. why, how and who the SBV's are.

Here's his response:

You got some facts backwards the swift vets were not a group of guys that just got together, they were organised by O'Niell. He started it. He has been after Kerry since the 1970's. He firmly believes that Liberals like Kerry who protested the war, lost the War in VietNam. History does not agree with that position. Also there is a big reason why this group wants to prove Kerry a liar. Some them we involved in a massacre. And Kerry exposed it. In order to vinicate themselves, they must destroy him, because he is the one who brought it out. Kill the messager. That is the real reason for these attacks. What could be more public than destroying his credibility during this campain. The statements don't have to be true, just need to place doubts with the public. If they are successful then, they can also say his testamony should be looked at as being tainted. They win vinication with out needing proof. Some of the founders of this group were also involved in that massacre in one way or another. If they make him a War Criminial, They look like Heros. there are some dirty hands in that group. Not all, but the main founders have bad stuff in their closets. By the way the main funder is a close friend of President Bush. Point A. The founder O'Neil, the funders, and the ad firm were involved in the 2000 Bush Campain. PointB the ad firm has never done a democratic ad. The owner has done Republician ads since the firm started. The owner is a card carrying Republican, started out working in the Reagan Adminstration. Her company did the nasty ads in 2000. She was not hired after the fact, she is one of the founders of Swift Boat Vets. also O,Neil was hired by Nixon to oppose Kerry, and attack him in the 1970's. point E. you are a little behind on this one. The tides Foundation contributions is an internet lie, nicer way to say it a Urban legend. It has been debunked. But it has been repeated on the internet for years. Just like the one that says that Congressmen don't pay Social security Taxes. That one is on the same level. Point G is false, all of the money so far has come from those few funders. I do agree that move on is a 527, and works to promote items what back the Democratic Party. They can be just as bad as the Swift Boaters. I hate 527 organizations, nothing good comes from them, except ads filled with half truths. The lack of direct link from these organizations to the candiate is the beauty of it, because if it flopps, no one will blame the candiate. they can truthfully they had nothing to do with it, or more like a half truth, because they knew, but there is no way to connect them with. The mission of 527 groups is not to get the truth out, but to help destroy a candiate. We should quit assigning these wonderful lofty goals to these groups, when there only mission is to destroy a candiate.

Hey, your guy sounds like the sweet voice of reason compared to the
clown that I have on another board. Just put some documentation in
your stuff and nicely ask for documentation on his major points. Keep
your posts short and civil. It's amazing how you can wear someone
down this way.

I have been on this site for over 2 hours. Actually, I've come here many many times to get my info. I cannot find anything about O'Neil being hired by Nixon. I can't find anything regarding the spokeswoman. I have no clue what massacre he is referring to or if there was one, who was involved?

I thought I'd come here and as.
Maybe get a percise answer to his comments from a more informed person? I just didn't want this to consume my morning doing constant searches. Thanks for your help.

President Nixon was impressed with O'Neill after the Dick Cavett show debate and had him do some speaking engagements. To my knowledge that's pretty much all there is too it. John Kerry got his butt kicked by O'Neill in 1971 all by himself. No dirty tricks needed.

Make no mistake allot of these people are far left socialists, And them being such you will never convince them of anything but thier socialist doctrine. Edwards "Two Americas" is right out of the communist manifesto they state there are two classes the haves and the have nots. The socialists have cleverly and decietfully disguized there intentions here for years and have spread their vile lies for years now. In our schools, media and one of our political parties. It is now a battle and will be for now on against keeping the socialists out of power all the time
