Most of the partisans (both Republicans and Democrats) in this election probably won't bother to read your book unfortunately.

They may listen to a tape or cdrom audio book though. After reading the book, I applaud the courage that it took to come forward with these well documented and painful memories.

In addition, it seems that the character Senator Kerry evidently displayed in Vietnam, has continued throughout his Senate career. No important initiatives, chosen attack dog, self-promoter, loose with the truth, and gollem like relisher of power and its perks.

I am not at all pleased with the excessive pork barrel spending engaged by the Republican led Congress and Senate and not vetoed by the President. I would have supported and voted for any other Democrat other than Senator Kerry or Senator Edwards.

I have not decided yet how to express my vote ... the spending issue is nontrivial but it is likely that this Democratic candidate will be just as liberal with the purse strings.

If you see my post on "Ordering the book" I explain how this whole thing came together as a crash project, in about one year LESS than is normally required for a book like this. So UNFIT FOR COMMAND is already breaking speed records zipping through the publishing industry and book world. So the major problem with an audio version is just doing everything at once.

-----> That's a DARN good idea! If the Vets who know about different incidents were to read the passages they know about, it would be very powerful.
