A document recently posted http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/jkmilservice/bronze_star_recommendation.pdf on John Kerry’s website that has been quoted on the Fox News Channel by a Kerry Supporter, was created on August 15, 2004 and was created with Photoshop. In addition, most of the documents on Kerry’s website regarding his military records were created on or around April 21, 2004, each one with a different scanner, fax viewer, and Coral Draw.

You will have to explain why the date of when a document was scanned to be put up on the Internet is of any significance.

Nobody is disputing that Kerry has access to his own documents.

I think there is absolutely nothing pertinent by the time stamp you show...unless you have some sort of "theory".

I agree with ASPB.

But also, they could just be re-scanning some of the documents that didn't show up well, the first time.

The fact that PhotoShop was used as the TWAIN manager for the scanning isn't significant. I use Paint Shop Pro to scan everything - I can then clarify text, brighten, crop, soften, blur, in general optimize the scanned items to show up well on the web.

Now, if you can get some evidence that they "Photoshopped" the documents after they were scanned, that would be something else, again. "Photoshopped" in this context means faked, tampered with... a date changed, a comment re-written, a fitrep marked up, etc.
