When Gore saw that he was losing Florida in 2000, his reaction was to file a lawsuit to overturn the election. He called for a recount......but not a complete recount on a uniform basis in the entire state, but just in the speicifc places and under the circumstances where he thought he could get an advantage.
Now Kerry is seeing that the SBVT ads are hurting him. So he has the same snakey instinct. File a legal action, on grounds that could just as well be applied to ALL 527 ads.....but he's silent on the ads from his backers.
Kerry will lose his lawsuit -- SBVT is independent -- but he reveals his lack of principles.
Correction: he does have one overriding principle.....all that matters is to advance John Kerry. _________________ For those in peril |

What troubled me the most during the whole Florida re-count was the sight of two lawyers who were working for the Gore campaign high-fiving each other after they had had a military absentee ballot thrown out over the post-mark. |
