Kerry escalated the battle over the $1 million "Swift Boat ad" this week by charging that the group was "a front for the Bush campaign", specifically accusing the President of illegal collusion with the veterans group. The basis: the group running the ad is 50% funded by a Republican contributor who happens to be a supporter of Bush. Additionally, Bush's top political advisor, Karl Rove, knows this Texas contributor. This is hardly indicative of collusion. If that were so, Kerry would be in deep trouble given democratic-funded groups have run a total of $62 million worth of ads attacking the President, largely funded by Hollywood entertainers with ties to the DNC.

Kerry's accusations come only after his lawyers hinted at legal repurcussions to TV stations if they ran the ad. When those scare tactics failed, Kerry has begun categorically calling these veterans liars despite their accounts forcing Kerry to clean up his own on the Cambodia issue and fleeing the scene following a mine explosion incident. Additionally, in concert with a one-sided "analysis" by the New York Times, Kerry has personally lectured Americans on "all you need to know" about the Swift Boat Veterans group is they are liars in cahoots with the GOP. Meanwhile, despite $62 million attack ads on Bush and Michael Moore's "Farenheit 911", Bush has remained poised and presidential. If Kerry had nothing to worry about, he'd emulate the President's professional behavior in the face of scrutiny. He hasn't, which indicates one of two things: He is either worried about the truth coming out, or he simply is so lacking in self-confidence that he can't stand to be under scrutiny. Neither make him an attractive choice to be President.

Yeah it's not like George Soros isn't the pit bull for the Dems....The Dems can't even keep track of their lies and who they have funding their ads.
