| I am a former Marine with the 3rd Marines 2nd Bat. E-company circa 1970-1974--Recon Unit--You men have a lot of guts in the face of adversity--Be it in 2004 or in 1968--You proved your worth back then, and you still hold dear the ideal and honor of truth. I just wanted to say thank you for exposing another political liar. I, for one, am not surprised by any of this. When I heard about Kerry receiving the awards and the time frame in which he received them. I was stunned to say the least. I had never in my life of service heard of anyone receiving a Silver Star or Broze, for that matter, in the record time in which Kerry received it. I always thought the Pentagon and/or the JAG Corps had something to do with affidavits and research/investigations into the after firefight reports. But then. I was just a grunt and not an officer so maybe they are expedited. I'd be interested to know where all of Kerry's fitness reports disappeared to as well. He had some 25 years as a Senator to take care of them so maybe he can shed some light on where they may be. Anyway--That's my two cents--You men are to be highly praised for your stance and do not cower or give up to the public or media scrutiny. Hell, I do not need to tell you guys this. You lived and live it today. Thanks again gentlemen. Carry on!! |
