A guy on CNN/Wolf right now talking about Michigan and how they don't care about the questions being raised about Kerry and all they are concerned about is unemployment and that's what Kerry should talk about.. and blah, blah. Basically said the ads weren't being shown there and he didn't expect they would have any effect.

I'm hoping the vets & soldiers in Michigan that are with the SBVFT mission show up at his next appearances and have a little "talk" with him...... and maybe let your voices be heard. If the dems get their way and pull ads and books, our voices are all we have left!

GIVE IT TO HIM MICHIGAN !!!

As a Michigan resident, I do care who is President. I am not a Veteran of any branch of the military service.

Michigan is one of the "battleground" states that leans Democrat. It hurts y'know? But that's how it is. We have our Veteran constitutents, it really up to them to answer and assemble.

We aren't seeing the ads either. Though I'd love to. I've seen them here, and heard them on Rush.

Man, they are devastating.

I'm not a veteran either, but I lived thru the Nam era -- and I remember who JK is and what he said and did -- loathed him, but never knew what one could do about it. I'm not sure how the vets feel here in Minnesota, as the only ones I've seen are those supporting JK. However, I do feel that they will be out and about soon! What I heard on CNN was a sarcastic guy talking about Michigan, but I suppose they will be saying the same things about Minnesota.... so smug.

Recalling the picture of those two vets at the VFW Conf in Ohio that stood with their backs to JK during his entire speech -- powerful! and even tho the cameras didn't show them, the image got out and it was discussed on the media. Just two guys can have an impact -- and on JK personally, I'm sure, as he's up there speaking.... message loud and clear: we reject you mr JK -- Yeah.

VIETNAM WAR ATROCITIES
Candidate backs investigation of unit’s brutalities

Three decades after testifying to Congress about Vietnam war crimes, Sen. John Kerry voiced support yesterday for an investigation of the longest-known series of atrocities by a U.S. fighting unit in Vietnam and what led the Army to conceal the case for decades.

"I think the truth ought to [come] out," the Democratic Party presidential front-runner said after a speech at the University of Toledo.

Senator Kerry (D., Mass.), a decorated Vietnam War veteran, became the second Democratic candidate to push for answers in the wake of The Blade’s October series "Buried Secrets, Brutal Truths."

In its investigation, the newspaper documented how a special Army platoon called Tiger Force brutalized civilians and enemy prisoners during a sweep of 40 villages in the Central Highlands of Vietnam in 1967 - with an estimated death toll in the hundreds.

Maybe the "investigation" should start with Kerry's own admission that he committed war crimes Laughing

Quote:
April 18, 1971 NBCs Meet The Press
MR. CROSBY NOYES (Washington Evening Star): Mr. Kerry, you said at one time or another that you think our policies in Vietnam are tantamount to genocide and that the responsibility lies at all chains of command over there. Do you consider that you personally as a Naval officer committed atrocities in Vietnam or crimes punishable by law in this country?

KERRY: There are all kinds of atrocities, and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I took part in shootings in free fire zones. I conducted harassment and interdiction fire. I used 50 calibre machine guns, which we were granted and ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people. I took part in search and destroy missions, in the burning of villages. All of this is contrary to the laws of warfare, all of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions and all of this is ordered as a matter of written established policy by the government of the United States from the top down. And I believe that the men who designed these, the men who designed the free fire zone, the men who ordered us, the men who signed off the air raid strike areas, I think these men, by the letter of the law, by the same letter of the law that tried Lieutenant Calley, are war criminals.
