Either John Kerry is lying - embellishing, if you will, about his service in Vietnam or the Swiftboat Vets are. In a nutshell - is that correct?
Am I further correct in assuming that if Kerry were to sign Form 180 that this entire mess would be cleared up immediately? Not sure how it worked in the Navy, but in the Army the paper trail was a mile wide and all in triplicate.
If the above is true, then why is there no major push to pressure John Kerry to sign Form 180? Then the American public will be able to see for themselves. If he wont sign then he is hiding something. Or am I overlooking something here?
I'll kick in yet another $100 for that ad! _________________ "I served admirably in Vietnam" John Kerry

I think you've got it nailed.
John Kerry has so far refused to sign a Form 180, yet maintains that he has released "all" of his military record for public scrutiny.
What reason would he have to claim this, without signing the official "let them see it for themselves" form?
I know what my answer is.

Could a vet explain to us non-vets exactly what a form 180 is, and what might be in there that would cause Kerry to refuse to submit one? Thanks. |

DD form 180 is a release of information so all records can be released.
Why would he not submit ?? Hummmm i wonder. there may be some things in there he doesn't want us to know. _________________ US Navy Corpsman (HM2) 1958 to 1966

Obviously, there is something damning in there. Any speculation as to what it could be? |

Thats about as simple as it gets 7rrfs. Kinda makes you wonder why this wasnt done when the swiftees ads started hitting the air. Unless there is something to hide. Thats my theory,,,,hehehe

That is all we need to chant at Kerry.
His Form 180 would make clear the details of his injuries and medals.
His position on any topic today is 180 degrees from what was yesterday.

Well in that case should not Kerry be pressured twice as hard to sign a DD180 as GW is to disavow the SwiftVets? _________________ <insert pithy signature here> |

As another non-vet, I've got another questions about records. We all assume that there are some records that Kerry hasn't released that would become available if he signed the 180. Otherwise, he would have signed it.
Where would those records be located? Is there any possibility that he could have someone get to those records and 'sanitize' them? |

I am not well versed in running political compaigns but it seems to me that this one simple act, signing the SF-180, should be a center piece of the attention we draw to Kerry.
"Sign the SF-180 so we may decide for ourselves, Senator Kerry. The American public has the right to know."
If he doesnt then who could doubt for second that he isnt hiding something? And something really nasty at that! It appears that its alot of somethings as well.
Is there ANY spin that the Kerry people (and the media) could put on his not signing? Is that even theoritically possible? _________________ "I served admirably in Vietnam" John Kerry
