I just sent them this e-mail
Quote:
The Democratic Party is partnering with MoveOn.org, People for the American Way, Campaign for America's Future, and dozens of other groups representing millions of Americans to organize a massive public mobilization. On Wednesday, May 14, join us by calling and emailing your representatives in Congress to let them know that the majority of Americans oppose more irresponsible tax cuts that go overwhelmingly to the wealthiest sliver of Americans.

Tim Russert actually nailed Ted Davine on Christmas in Cambodia. He also brought up Kerry's double standard towards Vietnam vets.
The SBVT actually came off looking pretty good, despite Russert's leanings. |

Looks to me like Russert allowed Tad Devine to rant about Kerry's heroism then shifted the topic to Iraq. He silenced any Swiftee rebuttal and should be criticized for it. _________________ '58 Airedale HMR(L)-261 VMO-2 |

See my thread on Fox News.
There is a story America needs to hear -- that isn't being told well enough. There are only 2 months and change left. _________________ Top 10 Weasels.com is where Kerry is Weasel #1 |

Yes, the stealth liberals, like Russert are the dangerous ones. I have been giving too much credit to Chris Wallace of Fox. His liberalism was really showing today. He tried to make us believe that phony paperwork was more credible than eye witness accounts. Our swiftee made the point that had there been that much enemy fire from both banks of the river ( they were sitting ducks ) why didn`t anyone from the 5 boats sustain one injury from enemy fire or one boat sustain even a single bullet hole. If they were that bad how did we sustain 58,000 casualties. |

I really miss Tony Snow.
I refuse to watch Meet the Press, Face the Nation, or This Week (or whatever they call it now). ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC are blocked on my TV as I'm sick of the "Not so Fair -- and Very Unbalanced" with my News. They tell their story and ignore the real news. _________________ Top 10 Weasels.com is where Kerry is Weasel #1 |

From Robert Cooper:
After watching "Meet the Press" this morning - I still am wondering why Tim Russert is still approaching SwiftVets in the context of the Presidential Election alone. Doesn't any of the members of the mainstream media wonder - "After the Election, what then?"
If SwiftVets is a Bush-backed attack machine against Kerry - this would mean that the Bush Campaign is exploiting Vietnam War Veterans for his purpose - hence, Bush would become greatly unpopular among all veterans. I can't imagine a political strategist even suggesting to President Bush to do something like this - it would be lethal to his legacy.
The point that is being consistently ignored is that the issue is that their exists a huge judicial deficit created by John Kerry in 1971 when he falsly labeled Vietnam War Veterans as "War Criminals" which was viciously propagated by the mainstream media and perpetuated by the entertainment industry - all without a shred of evidence. Here's the judicial deficit - Congress and the mainstream media has yet to grant the Vietnam War Veterans a fair and equitable hearing regarding the truth in their own defense.
Even after 33 years, Vietnam War Veterans are still stigmatized with the label of "War Criminal" and portrayed in movies as "War Criminals" - all based on the false label coined by John F. Kerry.
After the election, what then? |

RE: judicial deficit
Absolutely correct. At no time since the end of he war has an opportunity like this arose to set the record straight and give our veterans the honor and dignity they deserve.
This is far, far bigger than election year politicking. It's a matter of honor. _________________ "Medals do not make a man. Morals do."-Don Bendell |

Yup. That is why it is not going to die no matter what any pundits say, this won't be over until the record is set straight and good men get their due, and bad men finally get theirs _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"
