Kerry will do anything to avoid addressing the issues, including putting out an ad to attack Bush. How pathetic. Oh well, he will have to face it someday. If he thinks hiding behind Bush is going to help him he is sadly mistaken. He just doesn't get it does he??

He's hiding behind Bush after he is hiding behind McCain. ANYTHING to stay an arm's length away from O'Neill....

With the new internet dem ad using the "smear campaign against McCain" to prove Bush is behind he Swiftees (the BORING repetitive talking pt on all the shows today..), one has to really, really wonder about McCain staying silent and allowing this to continue. He's showing some strange colors with his silence...

He gets it. What he's doing is dodging his Senate history under the cover of "I fought in Vietnam", "I'm a war hero". At the same time he's dodging the swiftvets with "they're liars on the Bush payroll". John Kerry knows that as unpopular as Bush is in some circles he cannot win the election on his Senate record therefore he wants people to focus on Vietnam. It's easier for him to call people liars on Vietnam than to explain away his extreme liberal agenda in the Senate. His hurdle is the upcoming debates with Bush so now you have the "If Bush wants to debate me on our military records, all I have to say is, Bring it on" speech. I personally hope Kerry does go into the debates thinking he'll keep riding the Vietnam bandwagon. I also hope that if he does Bush simply looks over at him, smiles, and in his best Ronald Reagan simply says "there he goes again".

I'd bet my house that Kerry got permission from McCain to use him in the ad beforehand. I don't think Kerry would've taken a risk not doing that and face more ridicule from McCain (the only Republican in Kerry's camp).

McCain doesn't pass the smell test with me on this whole denouncement of the swifites ad. I would like for someone to investigate McCains involvement in the POW release from Vietnam and his work with Kerry on it. Maybe Kerry has some goods on McCain and thus McCains support to Kerry in this regard.

Something is up, that's for sure. Make's you wonder when all the shows today ran that dem internet ad about McCain (so it got exposure all over the place!), and none of them asked: I wonder what McCain thinks about this? or, do you think Kerry could have run this without McCain's approval? Not one question about it. Just run it and let it stand. Yay for our quality hosts and their running on blind automatic..... just throw the stuff out there and let it fly! It's such a simple question that certainly would occur to anyone the minute they watched it. Are these people aware in any sense of the word??? Rolling Eyes
