Vividly remember that day as I was at the firehouse and we receieved a fire in a 2 flat. I missed the beginning but caught as much as I could when we returned to quarters. What struck me the hardest was that I was watching as my brothers in the F.D.N.Y. gave their lives, just as I had watched my same brothers in Nam do. It was a wakeup call and I was angry to the point that I didn't even want the U.S. to wait 10 minutes to go after these slimeballs. Both these families I belong to are the greatest. As Viet Nam vet, I unlike Hanoi John could never look myself in the mirror if I turned on them in the way Hanoi John did. One word-criminal. _________________ Viet Nam vet and PROUD! |

I WAS ALSO AT NAS JACKSONVILLE IN VS-30 DIAMOND CUTTER. I WAS T.A.D. TO LOCKHEED IMC. MY CHIEF CALLED EVERYONE INTO THE OFFICE AND ALLOWED US TO STOP WORKING TO SEE WHAT WAS GOIN ON. THATS WHEN I SAW THE SECOND PLANE HIT. THE BASE THEN SENT HOME ALL NON ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL. MY SQUADRON WAS DEPLOYED ON USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN73) TO THE BAY AT NEW YORK CITY. I WANTED TO GO BUT SINCE I WAS TAD I WAS OWNED BY LOCKHEED THAT YEAR. IT SUCKED, I FELT USELESS BUT O, WELL. I COULDNT DO ANYTHING. |

Sept. 11th 01,... I was here on the computer watching the TV above it.
As the 1st plane hit, I remembered the story of the bomber flying into the Empire State Building,.
When the 2nd hit, I knew we were at war.
I just thank God, Pres. Bush was our Commander in Chief.
What do you miserable trolls think "Wooden Head" Al Gore would have done...?
Probably peed in his pants and called Slick Willie for advice.. ...God help us.. _________________ 101st Airborne Div.
