I figure he has about 7 days to offer out his apologies, before it too late. What Dole said today is the most significant development, and all the Kerry Campaign staff knows it.
If Kerry looses support in that group he is in deep trouble.
If he continues to try to maintain his Cambodia lies, he will be torn up. You know it will be asked in the debates. |

An apology out of his mouth would mean nothing to me. |

I think that was truly the beginning or the end for Kerry.NamGate.The msm is starting to smell the bigger story. This thing is gonna blow wide open soon.
I dont think weve really seen anything yet,but uts coming. One day people will be looking back with amusement at how Kerry got so close to being CinC ,Before the public got wing of all the canidate had done in the past to undermine americans. _________________ Hold all media accountable,If you see or hear an untruth dont let it slide EMAIL them.let them know .When they figure out they are fooling noone and it goes to their credibility and enough people let them know.Maybe the slant wont be at such an angle. |

OR TO ME! That's what he'll try -- the MSM is asking for that. But it won't work and maybe then they'll start asking, why not? pea brains.... sorry, but they are so missing what this is about.... |

Oh, come on now guys ...
let him apologize.
I'd guess this would be the "I didn't mean to offend anybody" variety.
Then, correctly point out he didn't apologize for <select from list>
He would, of course, have to either acknowledge or deny he needed to apologize from <select from list>
If he acknowledges it, let the world know how gracious we are, and might be willing to let bygones be bygones if only he also acknowledged <select next item>
... or haven't you seen how the game is played? |

Will Kerry have a Senate seat to return too?
Do you think it could also be the end of Ted (I'll have another Martini) Kennedy?

rjas77,
I didn't join until about a week after I found this site. Why? Because I was skeptical. However, I am now convinced that the Swift Vets are telling the truth. The details may differ slightly but not the essential picture.
Because of that, if there is paper in Kerry's records that I think there is, we could very well be looking at a Senate investigation. In short if this scandal is as serious as I think it might be, Kerry could well wind up being impeached (yes Senators can be impeached). _________________ -Polaris

I am not saying that an apology will help much either, but it would be an admission, at least.
The more I understand this Kerry guy, the more I see that his opportunism did by far the most to create the perceptions of the Vietnam Veterans.
His protest and medal thing
His statements
His debates.
The entire paradigm of current American popular beliefs about Vietnam are a false characterization based off the in LARGE part the lies of John Kerry.
He took the rare exception of bad events by a very rare few veterans, and his lies made them the standard belief.
Should Kerry apologize, yes. Will that reform him, no.
Kerry's entire life of lies is now his foundation, I doubt he will stray to far away for his lies. Especially with the entire Democratic Machine validating him. |

I don't see how you can say the news media are going against Kerry on this. Even Fox is at best neutral. Everyone else looks like they're on Bush's case pretty hard, and on SBVT's case pretty hard. Look at that guy from the Chicago Tribune. I don't know if anyone here is from Chicago, but the Tribune is a pretty solid Republican newspaper and I think their articles are going to do some damage in Wisconsin. Maybe Dole's words will have some impact. We'll see, but for now it seems like the most support for Bush and SBVT on this comes from the places you'd expect them to come from. Hard to say right now. |

franken,
The mainstream media is against Kerry in one important respect:
They are TALKING about us. That is new. If they talk about us, people will come here and browse and buy Unfit For Command even if they otherwise would not. It also allows our ads to reach millions and millions of people that it otherwise would not.
That's huge. Kerry made a horrible mistake by taking us head on. _________________ -Polaris

Agreed...Friday, ABC News ran this story, just behind the Najaf standoff. The story was how Kerry filed a complaint to the FEC regarding the ads and in doing so they showed about 30-40 seconds of the POW ad here in Seattle...All for free no less! As the story concluded, they had a reporter at the Vietnam Memorial asking arriving vets what their thoughts were about Kerry's speech in 1971. None of the three interviewed had anything positive to say about Kerry. _________________ Help get the Truth Out. Here's How |

Moderator Note:
This forum was designed to facilitate the discussion of the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth strong conviction that John Kerry is unfit to serve as Commander-In-Chief.
If your defense of John Kerry can only be couched in rhetoric denigrating the fitness of SBVT, then we suggest that you find another venue for that expression.
Thank you,

theresa,
You might want to explain to them that any FOIA request on Kerry's records only gets 6 pages out of 100+. More to the point you need to HAMMER in the point that we can't know if Kerry has posted all his records until he signs the SF-180. To think otherwise would be to take his word for it.
Finally hammer this in...over and over:
If Kerry has really posted all his records, then what does he have to hide?
No Dem has ever answered this question when I have been on such forums. They try to change the topic...pronto. _________________ -Polaris
