John Kerrys Jourmal entry 9 days after "recieving wonds" that brought him his first Purple Heart state, he and his Crew had yet to come under fire!!
I just saw this on Fox News, the response from the Kerry Campaign is that John Kerrys first PH may very well have been the result of an"unintentional self inflicted wound" !!!
Hmmm thought none of those PHs came from self inflicted wounds?
Wonder if the Kerry Campaign will post that bit on their Web Site with "all his records"?

So far, Kerry, or rather, his "spokespersons" (since the "war hero" doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to speak for himself about the charges made against him) have had to admit that the only place where his supposed venture into Cambodia is "seared" is in John Kerry's fantasy--

and

Now they have to admit that the wound in question was, indeed, self-inflicted--

One-by-one, his protestations that the charges are all just another "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy" against him are being going down--Pretty soon, all he'll be able to try to claim is "MOM!!--W IS PICKING ON ME!!!!", and that will be just as inaccurate as all of his other denials--

If this wasn't so serious and important, it would be funny--C

Be patient guys. Self-inflicted wounds count for a PH if, and only if, you are engaged in combat. This is only a partial concession. But...he's still toast because there is no casuality report and no after action report. Remember this name. RADM Schachte.

Kerry has already admitted that he wasn't in Cambodia on Christmas 1968.

Now he admits a self-inflicted wound for his Purple Heart.

Sounds a lot like the SBVT's version of things!

Gee, the first PH was the result of a “self inflicted wound.” Kerry admits it now. I’m starting to loose track of the lies he’s admitted to and his damage control of them by spewing more lies.

Let’s see – Xmas in Cambodia, not running away from a firefight then running away, appearing at the Fulbright Hearing as a representative of Vietnam Vets and that his testimony wasn’t about him.

Are there others? I’m sure there are, but I just can’t remember them all. Help me out here.

I think they admitted Kerry was not under enemy fire for the 1st PH

Yes, this was Kerry's journal entry which was quoted for Tour of Duty - he is writing that there they were, feeling pretty cocky as only soldiers who have not yet been shot at are cocky... words to that effect.

Unfortunately, there is a window wide enough through which to drive a truck in the phrasing. Sad

There are discussions about this buried in Research and Resources - probably on the last page.
