They are lying Kerry tried to get a deferment but was turned down.Only then did he enlist in the naval reserves.

Pat is starting to really impress me. Its hard for me to admit this because I dont like MSNBC and I dont watch it. The swiftees is the only reason I have turned it to this channel. Now MSNBC needs to thank the swiftees for getting them an audience.

Pat missed an opportunity to point out that Dole's first PH was bestowed on him and he told the truth about it. He also missed an opportunity to point out that Kerry applied for his first PH and then lied about it.

Pat is right on point regarding the importance of the "Cambodia moment" Kerry's "Road to Damascus" where he turned against his gov't -- seems like Chris is now getting agitated/ starting to bully - doesn't want to talk about Cambodia -- he wants to talk about "character." what?

Doug Brinkley just said that the only reason Gardner doesn't like Kerry is because Kerry chewed him out in Vietnam because Steve wouldn't stop firing his guns. I guess Doug would know, he was there right? oh wait... no he WASN'T.

When Buchanan stressed that "Christmas in Cambodia" was a lie that Kerry repeated over and over again, Chris Matthews shut him down by saying "I couldn't care less about it."

Matthews doesn't like the truth. He runs from it like a punctured pig.
