We'll see how much he lets Chris Wallace spin this. Frankly, I've lost all confidence in O'Reilly. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

Is that what you're getting from a promo for tonight's show or something? Because apparently he was all over swifts in his radio show, today.
Or are you just day-dreaming? _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

navy_navy_navy,
Perhaps, just perhaps O'Reilly felt intensely uncomfotable talking about military service of any kind...but Kerry's antiwar activities suffer from no excuse. On a less kind note perhaps O'Reilly is looking for a way to get out of the hole he has dug for himself.
We'll see. _________________ -Polaris

O'Reilly menntion nothing about Kerry meeting with the VC and the North Vietnamese. To me this is the worse thing Kerry did. |

What Bill is saying, and what Chris Wallace is pointing out, is that once you look at hard evidence, i.e.,not he said/he said testimony, all the documentary evidence favors Kerry.
But as Bill pointed out twice, Zumwalt and Elliot were not there, they are taking Kerry's word for it about what happened.
Bill's take is: Kerry served in Vietnam, he's got the medals.......that's the record.
What should, in Bill's mind, be a campaign issue is what Kerry did AFTER he came back from Vietnam, and I believe Bill will be riding that horse for all it's worth.
he doesn't care about the bogus medals and has never pretended otherwise because it can't be PROVEN except by believing one guy over another guy.
What Kerry said and did in his anti-war activity CAN be proven; meetings in Paris and so on.
So I think Bill is giving Kerry a pass on the medals but not on the anti-war hypocrisy and treason.

my point is that he excoriated the liberal media over this, and will probably weigh in on the ant-war antics.
As I have said in other posts, Kerry's treasonous actions are indefensible, I don't believe Oreilly will try to defend it..
Of course, I may be dissapointed. He has certainly dissapointed me over the first ad... |

Chris Wallace does not know this subject.
A judgment call? That third purple heart is not a judgment call of any kind. The first purple heart was a judgment call. And the judgment was to reject it.
Neither Wallace or O'Reilly even know what is in dispute and what is not. NO ONE IS DISPUTING THAT KERRY PULLED RASMUSSEN OUT OF THE WATER.
I am getting really tired of pundits not knowing this subject and still have the nerve to talk about it.
Chris Wallace was terrible choice for "the truth police". _________________ Talking point #1: Sign 180

O'rielly is not letting the liberal guest get off without being pummeled. |
