Kerry's campain can go to rest. The Media is taking care of the fight for him. As a matter of fact, they are getting Bush into it and twisting the truth around to damage him.

that is what this country has turned into. Evil or Very Mad

It won't work. All Kerry is doing is making more veterans turn against him

In the mid 1400s, when Johann Gutenberg invented the printing press, the elite began suffering from night sweats of epic proportions over the ability of "ordinary people" to distribute and disseminate information to the masses. Now, over 550 years after Gutenberg's invention, some of those who would have been classified as the feared "ordinary people" in 1450 are finding that they have now become the elite. These people now fear the new printing press, namely the Internet, and the turned-off readers of print papers are switching to it in droves, while confused newspaper executives end up looking like the Skipper and his Little Buddy trying to steer the SS Minnow through the storm in the opening credits of "Gilligan's Island."

You are right to the extent that the same way that we started this movement, with virtually no money and in only 3 states and now it has been blown into a national issue, but the very fact that we were glad that the major media jumped into *(or was obligated to) carried along some risks.

They hate anything that smells like conservative or republican. We are now their target. Since Kerry is their man, they will never ever admit that the man lacks moral character and that he lied.

So, let us not expect too much from the major media any longer... because they will spin it and twist it all day long in order to keep the "standards" that they want to believe that rule the game.

But the alternative media (Drudge, Fox, the Internet, etc.) will continue.

If you guys want to see the extent to which the Media ignores the facts, just look at this video http://real.stream2you.com/rnc/080504v1.mov

This movement has scored some good points. Don't forget that nearly everybody sees the Christmas in Cambodia lie for what it was now.

A little quibbling over whether or not there was enemy fire during the Rassmann rescue is small stuff compared to that.

There's no undoing that war crimes testimony that John Kerry gave, either. The major media winds up showing it on TV over and over, and it never looks any better for Kerry.

You are right. His Flip Flopping was a silently admitted fact, but now we have added something else to Kerry's record.

He lied about Cambodia. NOBODY CAN DENY THAT!

There is also doubt about the merits of at least 2 of his purple hearts.

The lies about throwing the medals are also out there in the background.

Some of his fables have been proven totally false. We have brought doubt into the reporting and outright discredit pretty much anything the guy says from now on.

Can you see the majority of the American people voting for a guy who has lied at least 3 times... proven!

Sad to say, but yes. Does the name Clinton ring any bells? Some people don't care about truth - or don't think there is such a thing as truth - to some everything is flexible.

This is the way it was in the early '70's when the press got behind Kerry and the anti-war protesters and any attempt for a fair & equitable hearing was met with overtalk and shouting. The media could do this because they were in total control of everything and was not accountable to anybody.

Today we have the "New Eyes of America" ie, fair and balanced news networks and talk shows who are not only keeping us informed, but also grants us a fair and equitable hearing and holds the maisnstream media accountable for irresponsible journalism. No surprise that MSM's credibility is rapidly approaching the level of that of the National Enquirer. If it wren't for the fashions, sports, recipes and concerts on the mall - nobody would even watch them. I certainly to rely on them for the news. This is something that we didn't have in the '70's - The Vietnam War Veteran's have finally gained the floor for a proper hearing.

Well, when you start at age 5, teaching the kids that 16 billions years ago there was nothing, and nothing exploded, and later nothing became alive and along the millions of years we came from nothing through evolution....

When you allow students and teachers to bring Playboy magazines while punish them if they pray or bring a Bible.

When you take tax money to teach that the Gay life style is ok and that marriage is nothing but a union between two people, and reproduction is not a factor.

When you elect judges that rule over the will of the people.

When you see these and many other aberrations, you get your heart ready for anything, and I mean ANYTHING.

Because for many, "it depends what the meaning of is is" Sad

What bothers me the most is that the Democratic Party had some great candidates. I have known about Kerry for a long time and I never wanted Kerry to be the candidate. Well when a party promotes a slogan like "Anybody but Bush" that's what you get; "anybody."

So Kerry has almost twenty years as a Senator and NOTHING to run on?

That has to tell the story. His attendance in the committees that he was on tells the rest of the story.

I support John O'Neall and the others against the slander. I believe in their honesty and their honor and their sense of DUTY for going through this turmoil. It is their highest duty to the country to tell the truth and set the record straight.

As a Democrat I only WISH I could say the same about Kerry.

News cycles in the 60's was on a 24 hour basis. Mostly AM radio, nightly news on 3 channels for 30 min., and the MS newspapers.

It was easy to herd public opinion because truth was in a straight jacket.

Now...we have a level playing field...Ain't democracy great?

We did have Short Wave radio, which did havre quite a spectrum of programming in English from outlets as far and wide as the Voice of America, the BBC (when it was trustworthy), Deutche Welle, Radio Nederland, and the stations that most of today's MSM outlets sound like:

Radio Habana Cuba and Radio Moscow. Crying or Very sad

Interesting addendum. I just came across this story. Would Kerry John F. have done this to his comrade Fidel?

U.S. breaks Cuban blockade
Tuesday 24th August, 2004

http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=7c2407c36dc8b3df

The United States has started direct radio and TV transmissions to Cuba, the State Department said Monday.

U.S. military aircraft began the transmissions during the weekend, designed to break Cuba's information blockade.

President Bush allocated $18 million in May to pay for the flights that transmit the radio and TV signals toward Cuba.

Known as Radio and TV Marti, the program started Saturday from an airborne broadcasting platform operated by the Air National Guard.

The Commission for Assistance to a Free Cuba recommended such broadcasts be carried out on a regular basis.

Radio and TV Marti have transmitted their signals to Cuba for more than a decade, and Cuban authorities routinely jam them.

These broadcasts will give the Cuban people uncensored information about their country and the world, and will help bring about a rapid and peaceful transition to democracy, said the U.S. State Department's deputy spokesman, Adam Ereli.
