Sorry, Michael
My brother spent twenty-plus years in sky-pigs whilst I was off on carriers (S-3s), ships, and Special Boats. You´ve heard that the only FAWs are on P-3s. I was always jealous!!

We were in Memphis at the same time. I cross-rated to AW in 1980.

Dane,
No offense was taken, I learned the first week out of aircrew school not to take myself too seriously. I might have been through Millington a wee bit after you, was there in Oct-Dec 87 unless you were one of my awesome instructors. If you you were wrong about one thing, every instructor said we'd never see hide nor hair of a Russian sub, got 2 on my first deployment
Michael
edit for date 87 not 97, in 97 I was 5 miles inside cambodia |
