I saw a clip on todays Brit Hume show from sometime yesterday on Fox News that a Kerry campaign member admitted that it is possible that Kerrys first Purple Heart was self inflicted.

That is another new concession from the Kerry campaign, is it not?

Is there any record of this admission here on the internet?

Yes, on these very boards. Most of us heard the Kerry campaign make this admission.

That's three verified things that Kerry has lied about:

1. Cambodia

2. The 13 March Incident (He left the others stayed unlike what he claimed at the DNC)

3. The first purple heart (since even his enlisted crewmen don't remember enemy fire...you have to be under fire before a self-inflicted wound will count for a purple heart as I understand the regs)

That clip is the one from special report.

They cut off the part where the Kerry guy admitted it but kept the part with the reporter stating that the Kerry guy admitted it.

Go to fox news, then click on the YOU DECIDE homepage, then click on where it says "RECORD NEWS" on the righthand side of the page.

That opens Major Garrett's video report - at the very end, he talks about that journal entry and he says that the Kerry campaign admits that he may have recieved the first PH for self-inflicted wounds. Shocked

I wonder if Chris Matthews was watching???
