Why is John Kerry NOW proud of his service, because it is ALL he has.
He can claim to be a combat veteran, whereas Bush cannot.
For some reason, he feels that this gives him some sort of great experience which will somehow make him a better president.
He can't run on his record in the Senate, he can't run on his traitorous activities after he got back, so all he has is his 4 months in Vietnam.
THe man specnt 20 fricking years in the Senate, and for that 20 years he has NOTHING to show for it.
For some reason he and the Dem's felt that by running as a combat vet, he could get some traction and possibly win.
Well, the Swiftboat vets have put that to a screeching halt, thank goodness.
John Kerry has nothing else to run on, that is why he is running on his veteran status. |
