forgivenjojo you can’t have people just going out and doing what ever they want under the umbrella of the Swift Vets, I think that would do more harm than good. Just like in the Military the plan starts from the top. I think a lot of good has come from this site, and I also think more is happening here than just getting the truth out about Kerry. One major thing that I see happening, and I think you are calling little nudges, is when something is seen as BS in the major media, whether it be newspaper, television, or radio, they are called on it told that they are lying or misquoting. I think a lot of people are finally seeing mass media for what it really is. Also take into account of all the people that come here that have there own site whether it is a blog or another forums or something else. I think this information is getting out a lot more than you think.

Jody of Texas, I well understand your frustrations and concerns. I have purchased copies of Unfit for Command and distributed them and made some healthy contributions to this site, but I will accept your challenge to do more within the rules that have been laid out by our moderators and leaders.

My greatest disappointment is the Fox News Channel. Except for Brit and Sean we have very few there working for us to get the truth out. In fact O1Reilly, Kasich and Rivera would like to shut us down so they can concentrate on the sex and murder mystery stuff. I know that Ollie North would like to help but his producers want him to stay on the more important battles of past wars. And how about John Kasich, you would think he, more than anybody, would want to know the truth. His Heartland Show is a total waste, in fact it is unwatchable.

I can only speak on behalf of our members at rightnation.us, but we would like to know what we can do to help get the word out beyond donating (which we are continuously doing; including myself) and discussing.

What would be appropriate/acceptable and not compromise the integrity of the SBV4T mission? We can do bumper stickers and coordinate rallies with our partners at protest warrior, but will not unless permitted to do so as to not infringe or be perceived as a front and divert from the SBV4T message.

Forgivenjojo, love your enthusiasm but Echo Juliet is exactly right.

The power of the Swiftees message is that it is true and it is coming from the men_who_served_with_Kerry. Just because you see a particular lefty columnist or tv host ignore or discredit this doesn't mean the truth isn't getting out. Witness the Washington Post slowly coming around - of all papers. You seem impatient, and I feel the same way sometimes, but time is on our side - the slow drip-drip-drip is killing Kerry.

The only way to keep the message consistent and powerful is to keep the Swiftees themselves delivering it. A great counter-example was Michael Reagan's appearance last week - although a talented debater and sympathetic to the Swiftees, he didn't have his facts straight and actually distracted from the message. And random ads from unknown people would immediately give media "evidence" that this is, just as they've been insinuating, a political hack job.

Swiftees are commanding this mission, let's respect that. The truth is on our side. It is working.
