Already the media is trying to "spin". One would think they'd be nauseous from all that spinning!

Well, here's my article about the matter. My "op-ed" if you will.
===============================================
The President has shown himself to be classier than Kerry once again.

Over the past year, everything negative imaginable has been tossed at the President. It began with the Democrats insisting that his military records be revealed and accusations of being AWOL. When it was pointed out that one cannot get an honorable discharge if they're AWOL, the democrats backed up and promoted conspiracy theories: his daddy got him out; his daddy got his records altered... yadda yadda.

Then came moveon.org. Funded by ardent anti-Bush, George Soros, moveon.org featured flash after flash, including flash shows refering to Bush as "Hitler" and implying that Bush (again) was AWOL.

Then came the slew of anti-Bush books, including Richard Clark, who is now a consultant for the liberal ABC news on terrorism.

Then came the 9-11 families and conspiracy theories that Bush knew, in advance, or possibly concocted the attack in Texas, back in his Governor days (according to Teddy *hic* Kennedy).

Then came the Michael Moore movie. Selling millions in tickets, featured on moveon.org, and promoted by every liberal imaginable, the Moore movie regurgitated every conspiracy theory possible.

And Kerry remained silent throughout. He never once- NOT ONCE- called for an end to these ads. Nor did he ever once call for these people to apologize.

And so along come a group of men who served with Kerry in Vietnam. Men who have nothing to gain from coming forward. And one man, in particular, who has spoken out against Kerry since 1971 (John McNeill). These men have always been there. They're not "new recruits" for the campaign season. They're men who suffered the humiliation of a lifetime because of John Kerry.

NOW Kerry demands that Bush denounce these men. Not the ads in general, only the Swifties. Funny how it suddenly matters what the 527 groups are doing, isn't it?

But the President is not denouncing them. The President is saying what needed to be said back when it was he, and he alone, who was "under attack" from a plethora of 527 groups and liberals.

Bush remained stoically silent, however. Unlike liberals, the President allowed these groups something guaranteed under the Constitution: Freedom of Speech.

But Kerry, an ardent liberal, suddenly doesn't like freedom of speech. He has refused to re-release "The New Soldier", he has tried to get the Swifties book banned and their ads banned. And now, he's trying to use them to hurt the Commander and Chief.

But Bush remains a gentleman. He won't condemn the swifties and he won't TELL them to stop. He knows that is a violation of their rights. He will say ALL these types of ads need to stop and, in true gentlemanly fashion, has asked Kerry to join in with him in this venture. But Kerry, like a little brat, refuses to do so because, if he does, it means HIS favorite anti-Bush venues will also be silenced. And Kerry needs them.

Bush, on the otherhand, doesn't need the swifties. And the swifties don't need Bush, either. And Bush, unlike Kerry, is gentleman enough to realize it.

This is for Bandit. If you are concerned about Bush's position on spending and immigration, watch what happens if Kerry is elected. In my opinion, this election isn't about who's right. It's about who is less wrong. Kerry's record speaks for itself and it's a shame that the media isn't publizing the truth about the liberal voting record and anti defense votes he has cast.

It doesn't really matter to me what Bush says about the Swiftboat group. Never has and never will. Don't let this distract us, we need anything we can put together (factuel, of course) to show the true history of Kerry. It's going well so far, from what I'm seeing.
